“I go here probably once a month lol favorite seafood spot. Food is always hot and comes out quickly. I’ve had great service every time except once with a group of friends (but I wrote it off as her probably not having a good day). Don’t sleep on their wings or drinks! Drinks always mixed perfectly and the wings have amazing flavor.“

“Usually I get take out from the c/y location but decided to see if parking is any better here (very slightly).Food here is just as great as the midtown one.They have great food, one of the only places in town that doesn't make their corn bread overly sweet. They also understand how to make a simple straight forward burger that isn't a heckin meatball or covered in increasingly pretentious condiments and toppings. If it s made right, burgers don't need all that none sense and sould fish, despite being a fish place, has one of the best simple classic burger and fries plate for a reasonable price.This same simple but well prepared, very fresh ingredients and nice serving sizes go into the salads. They offer one of the nicer Ceasar salads in the city. This is once again a simple dish but they don't mess it up by disrupting the simplicity. Instead they elevate the most basic of salads with very fresh romaine, in the perfect size pieces for a salad, and lots of cheese and croutons which are also very nice croutons. The Ceasar is dressing is not remarkable. It is EXACTLY what I expect when I order Ceasar dressing. Soul fish isn't trying to re invent the wheel and that a a good thing because as high quality as their food is they aren't great at parking lots.Parking: There's plenty of parking in the back but the spaces are tight and tiny and it is a very long walk between the lot and building. One way in, another way out, and it s narrow. It s like the midtown one so maybe they just love bad parking and pedestrian design.“

The inside is much bigger than it seems in the outside . Back to the food filets were true catfish crispy not burnt evenly cooked all over . Fries were normal straight cut nothing fancy. The tartar sauce was so good I think it’s homemade no way that came out of a jar. Well I drink only water so no drink review but please go here if u want fast true authentic fish plate go here ! “We took a leap of faith based on all the good reviews, now I only wish we would have done it sooner! Classic “hole in the wall” with great eats, great service, and great conversation; our entire family enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. We had a good mix and didn’t have a thing we didn’t like- from the fried fish and shrimp to the crab and shrimp boil- the sauces and the dry seasoning were DELCIOUS! Truly some of the best flavor I’ve had on seafood; we were all practically licking the plates (that garlic butter ?) & even bought some seasoning for home. A lot of us split The Little Island between 2 which was perfect (but even better after adding a piece of fried fish). Prices were reasonable and worth it. Avis was AMAZING & our waitress was sweet- we definitely look forward to coming back!“

Hence the rating. It is also a challenge to locate a parking space.“

“Saltwater Crab is now a must have every time I visit Memphis. I went here twice within the week I was there. The first time I went during lunch and had the lunch sushi special, can’t recall the rolls I got but it was bomb. The side salad that comes with it, I loved it so much. The second time I went I got the Cajun fried rice with chicken shrimp and veggies sooooo good! The service the first time was impeccable, no complaints. The second time I went during a busier time on a Saturday so the server wasn’t as attentive as I would’ve hoped. Overall, I will return for sure!“

You wouldn't expect that the cuban would be a good choice at a restaurant that highlights seafood,but you'd be wrong. It consistently is the best one I've had regardless of the restaurant. I’ve been there during lunch hours as well as dinner, and the service is always exceptional.Parking: The times I’ve visited I never had an issue about parking.Kid-friendliness: I notice parents bringing their kids there after school for possibly a celebration. I applaud the fact that the restaurant is very versatile in that it accommodates an adult atmosphere but can switch to deal with children as well.“
