“Our office orders from here often and service is generally very good. However, today it was exceptional!! We had a gathering planned for 11:45am, and, although I had created an order online for pick up at 11:30am, I neglected to SUBMIT it. I realized my error, submitted a large order at 11:11am, called them to see if I could possibly get the order BEFORE 12:00pm and they were so kind and said they would get on it. I arrived at 11:35am and the order was already completed, saving my back end! I really appreciate the staff as they are friendly and give such great customer service! My team full enjoyed their delicious subs!!! Thank you JJ staff for being amazing!!!“

“I highly, highly, highly recommend Wednesday's Jerk Chicken Special at Rae's Gourmet Sandwiches on Union. That is, if you enjoy involuntarily and pitifully yelping as you jump straight up out of, and pretty much fall off of, your office chair from the incredibly delicious and even more incredibly painful heat of the spices with your very first bite. The instantaneous clearing of any toxins in your body is spectacular. No worries, though, these antics go entirely unnoticed by your co-corkers who don't even hear you yelp because, while it seems to be ear splitting in your own head, the spices have actually sucked the breath out of you and it is a silent scream. Even as you walk in circular fashion around the office frantically flapping your arms like a chicken trying to whip up some semblance of a cool breeze to save yourself, you'll only come to realize that your co-workers think this behavior is normal for you. The only dismaying part of your lunch experience will be if you were stupid, like me, and only got a half order. #pahotwingsareforwussies“
“This was a chance eating place for our group and it will NOT be the last! Everyone working there was friendly and greeted us with a smile. You get a free cookie on your first visit! So many things to chose from - the chicken salad is excellent!! Loved our lunch there and have a list of things to try for the next time!“

“I went to Corner Bakery Cafe for a quick breakfast before heading to the airport. It's a small place that offers take out and dining in options. The bake goods all looked fabulous. I forced myself to choose between the coffee cake and a brownie cause I definitely didn't need both. I went with the coffee cake, it didn't disappoint but I still wish I would have gone with the brownie lol. Staff was really nice. I also had the bacon Avocado bowl minus tomatoes. It was delicious. “I visit Brentwood, TN for a few days roughly once a month for work. My favorite lunch spot is this Firehouse Subs. Since the one closest to our house in Louisville sucks and we won't go back there, this location more than makes up for those shortcomings.It's about a 3 minute walk from the desk I occupy to this Firehouse Subs. That's pretty ham dandy!I have a favorite menu item and that is the Spicy Cajun Chicken sandwich. I have it at least once while I'm there. The chicken is warm, the bread warm and toasty, and there's some kind of magic going on there in the rest of the ingredients because once I arrive in Brentwood after my drive down I literally can't wait to get lunch. I think, too, that the jalapeños have a lot to say about that great taste.The staff I've encountered here has always been GREAT. Everyone is hustling to take orders, preparing food, and make sure the dining room is kept clean. This place can be crazy busy for lunch, but it's never felt rushed. Every person working is focused on keeping things moving and keeping things in order.Since Firehouse Subs was created by firemen, the décor lends itself well to that, with few pieces of fire fighting equipment decorating the walls, red fireman helmets, and a red-and-while motif. And, for kids, a free plastic firemen's helmet.I'm glad this location is so freakin' awesome. It also makes me wish that the one closer to home was better.“
