Naughty Cat Cafe Coffee Shops • $
3742 Tennessee Ave Suite 100, Chattanooga

“The cutest place to visit!!!! The café is very cozy with two big rooms for the cats to roam. They have all types of beds, cubby holes and cabinets for the cats. They have couches and chairs for the adults. Very clean and no cats odors. The cats are 99.9% lovable and friendly. Since some are recovering from surgery, one or two may not feel well and choose to find a spot to sleep and be left alone. There are plenty of other cats walking up to you wanting to be petted. However they do not swarm you for attention. Its like they feel at home and come and go as they please. Very calm environment. There is another room with a café/gift shop with coffee, water, sodas and sweets. They have t-shirts and souvenirs as well. The owners are very accommodating and happy to talk about their cats. They never mention adoption, but there are books available with cat portfolios if you are interested. It is great that they limit the visit to an hour, otherwise you would never leave. It's like kitty heaven. Honestly, this is a must visit when you come to Chattanooga.“

“I am looking to potentially move to the Chattanooga area and this place caught my eye! Used books and coffee?! Yes please! I spoke with the owner/operator while I was ordering. She told me that her grandmother opened the store initially for used books, but those don't pay the bills (!) so when she sees people finding books here instead of just coming for the coffee that makes her so happy! There's lots of space and many different seating options. I recently started writing a book and this is the perfect place for that- or any work that needs to get done. Plus, $5 used books are a deal! I ACCIDENTALY got 7....and a latte. I'll be back for sure!! I put that I spent $1-10 for the coffee but I did buy 7 books. Just wanted to clarify!Parking: Free street parking! However, I came here on the heels of a winter storm, so there were not as many people out. Either way, it was easy to park.Kid-friendliness: There is a lot of space that is carpeted that would be great for kids to play on the ground. There are multiple different kinds of seating options too!Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of space between tables and plenty of room. On the first floor.“

It was a coolish spring day and were craving soup as an appetizer. My husband chose a cup of red lentil and quinoa chili, I chose a cup of the butternut squash soup. Both were perfectly spiced and beautifully presented. The chili was topped with micro greens and a cheesy sauce, the butternut squash soup was topped with sliced scallions. We both chose the recommended Chick-un burrito sandwich and tortilla chips- a filling and delicious main.“

“BeCaffeinated is one of my favorite coffee shops in Chattanooga. I have always had the most pleasant and welcoming experiences at any of their locations (I have been to each one.. multiple times). As much as I love their coffee and enjoying the outdoor seating at the Northshore location, what I love most about BeCaff. is their involvement with the community. Each month the shop hosts giveback days, which I think is totally incredible. Not only that, they offer their space to be used by other community partners and are always involved in something within the community. I know some argue that local coffee shops charge too much, but I will stand by my decisions to support BeCaff because it is evident they are investing in the community, not just a chain trying to make a profit. BeCaffeinated feels like something larger than a local coffee shop, they truly are an incredible member of the community! You guys are one of the things that makes me love Chattanooga! Also, I love that I can bring my dog and hang out on the patio, or pick up a coffee before we walk around the park.“

“I'm just gonna come out and say it: I LOVE Lola Beans. I only found out about it a week ago and I've been every day since to pick up my morning coffee, even though it's not on the way to my work. Their menu is extensive, to say the least, and they let you customize your drink with all sorts of flavors and options that you don't find anywhere else, which makes it a way better value than some of the more corporate coffee brewers around the area. More importantly, their drive-thru is FAST, with baristas coming over to your car to take your order before you reach the window. They even take Apple Pay and have a rewards program, so I find it hard to go anywhere else when I've got just a few minutes to make my commute, get some coffee, and go back to work. The place itself is also very cute, perched up on the hill going down East Brainerd in a hard-to-miss spot.“

“i work from home so i don’t get coffee out and about that often anymore but if i feel like having something a little more special than my at-home coffee i really like coming here. i’m not much of a coffee snob and i think if this place more for “treat” type coffee rather than “the working man’s” cup of coffee if you know what i mean, but it’s not over-the-top i-can-feel-a-cavity-forming sweet, and they’re really good about adjusting the sweetness level if you ask. honestly i didn’t feel compelled to write a review because of the coffee as much as i do because of the service. i’ve been here about a dozen times - maybe more - at times ranging from 5am to late afternoon and even though i’ve had a different barista almost every time, the people working here are always ~particularly~ nice. i wonder if it’s all the caffeine lol. anyway, always a pleasant experience and the blended chai tea latte (+ espresso shot) is delicious, would recommend.“

I definitely can’t see myself coming back regularly and spending $5.50 for a small. The actual food on the other hand, wasn’t too great. Everything bagel was homemade (so plus for that) but was incredibly salty and pretty dense. The blueberry muffin was also pretty mediocre. That being said… this is a coffee shop, not a food cafe so it’s less important to me that these aren’t so great.Service: people were so friendly, I just wish they took order at the speaker so you don’t order at the window and sit while they make everything. “I can only assume by your cavalier attitude that you have yet partake in the wonderment that is the Culture Coffee Co. Allow me to enlighten you. What happens is the one true God grows Arabica beans on trees in the Elitian fields using a mystical incantation, He then proceeds to magic them down to your local coffee place where whatever societal reject Culture Coffee Co. has rescued off the dole that week gently caresses them in a grinder, brews them and passes them along to you, the fortunate consumer. You proceed to ingest this finery in the vain hope that your obviously overmatched tastebuds can somehow comprehend the delectable intricacies that face them. Is that Carmel? Why yes, yes it is. And frothy milk too. But wait, did they...? They didn't. Yes, they did, they did indeed. They added whipped cream. And then, then my friend, they wrapped it in a togo cup. As your tastebuds try to process that amazing piece of information, it hits them: the Caffeine. The motherfluffing Caffeine. It announces itself with a burst of confectionery grandiosity the likes of which your pallet has never seen!“

Silhouette's Bikini Sports Bar & Grill Coffee & Tea • $$

“Went early on a Saturday just after 8pm opening, not a smoker and hoped to beat the fog bank that can develop with multiple smokers, cover was around $10 and one drink purchase, I don't do alcohol and opted for a coke zero, it was flat and owner/manager heard and replaced with no problems, the bar tender/cashier Dahlia was a cute petite lady and does dance as well and I got what was a nice private room dance but despite enjoying myself I guess she didn't because as soon as the song ended she had her crocs on and was out the room, I was going to get a few more songs but didn't get a chance to ask, had a beautiful lady Trixie talk and enjoy some small talk with her got several dances from her and she was wonderful, had a dance from a couple other women and enjoyed them as well. As the name indicates it is a bikini bar so all dancers were covered with bikinis, no nudity but I still had a nice time. There were about 8 to 12 different dancers and a wide assortment from petite little treats, bbw, small breasts and large, 5' to close to 6' tall. Will be back.“

“Highly recommend the royal sundae. The service was friendly and fast. The ice cream itself wasn't particularly special in my opinion, but the toppings and blondie made it fantastic. I took off a star for being overpriced imo ($17 for a shared sundae)“

Up/Down Coffee Bar Coffee Shops • $

“The hotel is unique! Check-in is at the bar! Stayed here with girlfriends and enjoyed the delightful lobby with multiple seating areas designed in boho fashion. We were given a $10 token to be used for a specialty drink at the bar or their coffee shop (which wasn't open until the next morning). The "bartender/check-in gal" was most helpful and very friendly. Our room (for 3) was adequate although not very functional. Two queen beds sit back to back which looks "fun" but in reality was not very conducive for us. The decor is cool, pegs line one wall to hang clothes, bags, etc. since there is no closet or dresser. The room appears smaller than most with a narrow layout. There is no refrigerator in the room. Ice may be obtained at the bar as there are no ice machines available. An "ironing" room is located on each floor. I would find this extremely inconvenient if I had been a business traveler! The bathroom was lovely and very clean and modern. I particularly liked the walk-in shower. The hotel has one cart for customers to use to help with luggage. My one complaint is the lack of parking. We returned to the hotel at 9:00 pm and had trouble finding a space. We ended up parking in their auxiliary lot which was further from the hotel and very inconvenient. The hotel is close enough to walk to many restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Overall the stay was good, fun decor and pleasant staff!“
