We had a 6 pm reservation thru open table. We were seated immediately and waiter Paul was fantastic. He gave us wine recommendations, and food recommendations . It was husband’s bithday and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and experience here. Most people were dressed up as it’s said dress code was business casual, but there were few people with T-shirts on.We hope to return soon.

I know it’s a steakhouse but enjoyed the appetizers (tuna poke & smoked salmon) & cocktails(old fashion & makers mark flight) the most. The steak and entrees were just ok. The service was very slow to say wasn’t really busy. For $200 for 2 people did expect better service while did enjoyed some of the food it was just kinda basic steakhouse where the steak was the most underwhelming.

We ordered a filet and lobster tail and we also ordered shrimp and grits, Mac and cheese, salad, asparagus, and green beans. The filet was ordered medium rare but came out very medium and had no seasoning. Shrimp and grits was like soup. Mac was blah and dry. Green beans were bland. I had to ask for a refill twice.Overall it was not a good first experience nor worth the money.

While visiting Chattanooga, celebrating my wife's recent retirement, we selected Hennen's for a small retirement dinner with family. The food was excellent, the ambience very nice, and the service excellent. Ash is a great server.
Food was great, service was fine..but then they turned all the lights on while we were still eating, I guess to try and get us to hurry up so they could close. That is not what I would expect from a “fancy” steakhouse.
The food was exceptional and the service was top tier the server Paul was the best I will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our dinner at Hennan's! Steaks were cooked to perfection. We all ordered different sides so we could sample, all were excellent. I especially enjoyed the asparagus risotto and the mushrooms! I don't know how one simple wedge salad can be better than another, but it was. One of the best I've had. Service was great, Courtney was a pleasure and helped us with an excellent wine choice. And to top it all off, everything was very reasonably priced as compared to other steak places and chop houses nearby. Highly recommend.
