I went to Northshore Nutrition hoping it would be a healthy option to get a protein shake. Unfortunately the staff were not very knowledgeable and had trouble answering my questions regarding what is inside their shakes. Finally the manager/owner showed up and was able to better answer some of my questions but still didn’t give me much help about what is actually in their smoothies. The smoothie itself was alright and pricey for sure.

Came to this shop expecting to find an honest local business, and was greatly disappointed in what I found. This store is selling Herbalife products. If you are unaware of what Herbalife is, it is a decades old pyramid scheme. This company has had numerous class action lawsuits filed against it and is banned in Belgium! There have also been a number of cases of Herbalife causing liver damage! It is such a shame to see this popping up on the North Shore. They are preying on UTC students especially, and charging exorbitant prices for water mixed with Herbalife powders. STAY FAR AWAY! I would not be surprised to hear they are trying to recruit UTC students!
