Our meal at Stir was incredible from start to finish. Spicy chicken samosas, oysters, shrimp n grits, filet and goat cheese raviolis- all amazing! Great craft cocktails! Service from Victor was top-notch! Will be on our list every time we’re in town! Would give six stars if I could!

Lively bar/restaurant in downtown Chattanooga has a great Cheeseburger! The Tillamook burger exceeded my expectations in a major way. Two smash patties that were pretty thick and made the burger unexpectedly hefty. Tasted great and might be one of the best burgers in town! Fries were also quite tasty despite looking overcooked at first glance. Overall, a great meal and a good spot to eat and have drinks either at the bar inside or outside on the wrap around patio.

10 out of 10! Best dish I’ve had probably ever. I got the Halbut Piccata. My boyfriend got the shrimp and grits. And we got an order of the truffle fries. ??‍??. So good. Next time we’re in Tennessee we will go again.

Stopped in for a quick drink late on a Saturday. Bartender was great and the drinks amazing! We had the old fashion and the whiskey sour. We wanted to return foe brunch but we were short on time. Menu looked great so we'll definitely be returning!

It was me and my partners 2 year anniversary & we reside out of town. We decided to do a little weekend getaway & check out Rock City & various places in Chattanooga. Upon getting hungry, we looked at various blogs and websites for food recommendations. On a lot of those searches, we saw STIR was among most of them, so we decided to dine in. The atmosphere was awesome, and the train station it's attached to was a cool piece of history as well. The host was decent at first, but upon sitting us at a table near the server station, I requested to move to a different table more centrally located, as I am a server myself and I would just like to be able to enjoy my meal not so close to the chaos that can be the server station. I explained this to him & he replied with a deep sigh, & an "Oooookay?" with a slight eyeroll, which I guess could be understandable if my request was something super outlandish. But it wasn't & was a simple request met with an attitude for no reason. I explained "well if this is going to be such a big deal, or an issue...or make things & people act weird for no reason, then it's totally fine." He quickly says,"Oh no, it's not! Give me one moment..." trying to recover the situation, walks away, and shortly after comes back to tell us they have another table available. He doesn't offer to get our drinks or even our menus from the table. He just awkwardly watches us gather our belongings, water glasses, and menus from the table. Jerrod was then our server, he admitted not coming to the table fast enough because he was "chatting away" with another table, which he was & we were watching. He then gave great service & checked in with us periodically, which was nice. The crab bisque was not as hot as it should've been, but it was tasty. The burger that I ordered was cooked perfectly & the pickled aoili was different but highly enjoyable. My partner ordered the scallops, which were great but could have been seared just a bit more for a better crust. The ceasar salad needed a bit more dressing, & also didn't taste as cold as a salad should. The lemon curd whiskey drink I had could've been a tad more sweet as well. If it wasn't for the rude host & his awkward & annoyed attitude, this experience would've been a bit more decent one. But the host seems annoyed just to be there working in the first place, so maybe that's the true issue in itself. Either way, 3 stars seems fair to give for this experience.

Came here to eat while on vacation. Our waitress had the worst attitude, especially after bringing to her attention that we were overcharged on our bill. Be careful when ordering oysters they will explain during lunch they are $1.50 but dont explain which ones, so we accidentally ordered the non lunch special (no big deal they were bigger) but then were charged for 17 instead of a dozen (12).It cost appx $150 for 2 plus tip for the waitress having a bad day.
