I will start by saying i believe it was the time of my visit that had the greatest impact on the quality of my food. I did not receive my food until about 8:45pm and you could definitely tell it in the quality. I got a 2 meat platter with chicken and brisket and the brisket was closer to jerky in texture. My wife ended up getting a half slab of ribs and they more glued to the bone than fall of the bone. Definitely needed a knife to separate the bones. I would consider trying again...read full review
We’ve ordered 2 kinds of meats ribs and beef brisket. They have a tasty, little bit chewy, thin wide cut brisket which is different than the other bbq restaurants we used to eat, most brisket are tender and fall apart. The ribs are tender, paired nicely with bbq sauce but the Louisiana hot sauce is not hot at all to me. Coleslaws and deviled eggs are okay. However, sorry I’m not a fan of the sweet baked beans. High expectations not met.Average but not great.Brisket with sliced thin and dry. Ribs are overcooked, dry and still had stiff silver skin.Coconut cake was very good. Bread pudding was very good.Service was good and waiter was very nice.
