Blackened chicken was nothing special. Mac and cheese was questionable. Shrimp had WAY too much breading. Not sure why this place gets so much hype tbh. I may visit again and try something else.
This was my first visit to any Popeye's. I walked in to no greeting, just a stare off into space. The staff member wasn't concerned about my presence. Finally, she looked at me mumbling something about taking my order. I explained I've never been to a Popeye's and asked her, "Do you have a recommendation on what to order?"
