“Honestly the best pizza around!!! Kim is absolutely amazing and has remembered our names and what we ordered from the first day we came. That says a lot! Always top notch customer service and like I said some of the best pizza we have had in a very long time! We try to go at least once a week to get our pizza fix! Sadly we are moving out of state soon, but when we come back to visit family and friends we will definitely make it a point to stop here to get some pizza! Thank you Kim for everything you do! You are the best!”
“Waited 35 minutes for a table for four. Prices have gone up but service was good and the food was yummy. The place just is very loud and crowded and feels like a cheap diner/cafeteria.”
“Best deviled eggs EVER!!! Wait staff very friendly. Clean. Southern menu. The Alex sandwich (blt with fried green tomato wad delicious). Black & blue burger was also fabulous. The fried okra was disappointing - thereby missing the 5th star. Definitely worth trying and returning!!”
“We visited the Shoneys (Store # 21) on March 17th, 2024 at 1pm. Our server was Brittany, and she did such an amazing job. We had been driving all day and we had twice been unable to eat at other places. We were tired and hungry, and Brittany really did great. We loved that she was friendly, proactive, and she was concerned if we were having a good experience. There are few servers like her in the world now, and she represented the best for this company. We don't live in the south, or the few northern places Shoney's is, so we have never been to a Shoney's before. Aside from Brittany's really outstanding service, the food was amazing from start to finish. Even my 4 year old loved everything. Truly a great experience, and Brittany should be recognized as a great reflection of her location, and the location's management.”
“Outstanding place!!!! My first time here, and it was amazing. Great people who own it and a great atmosphere and most of all.... Phenomenal food!!! I will most definitely be back. Thank you and much love and blessings.. Brenda ”
“Amazing Sushi. Especially considering minimal options in this general area. Only issue is small dining area and loud patrons due to small setting. Take it to go and be much more satisfied with overall experience.”
“Had a late lunch. Found this place in the middle of Dandridge. Had a German atmosphere. Sandwiches were good. I had the muffallata Sandwich and a beer. (White zombie). ”
“The food is excellent here. It’s always hot and fast. Service the last couple times has been slow. I ordered and water and never got a refill after asking twice. Only saw our server during drink order, to bring food, and to bring our check.”
“Made this a destination ride today . Most lunch places are closed on Sunday . Burger was very good , onion rings also . Took a few mins because they made the burgers fresh . My buddy ordered the spicey wings . They were really good . Booth seating and one large table that can fit around 9 people . Nice place I would def go there again. .”
“Great salt and pepper catfish and shrimp. Hush puppies are great also. Tried the cod and flounder, but cod was dry and flounder was very fishy smelling. I would stick to the catfish and shrimp. Cole slaw is ok, but would be better if it was shredded not chopped super fine.”
“Came here pretty much on a random road trip to eat at a restaurant we'd never been to before--and it was a great pick. We had the Saturday pulled pork special and the steak bites with sweet potato fries--so very good. We'll definitely be back again.”
“Always a good experience. Friendly staff, and good food, especially when Niki and Mike are running things behind the counter on late-night shifts. The coffee is hot and their service is top-notch. Worth the stop in!!!”
“My sister Mona and I had breakfast there. It was great! I had biscuits & gravy with bacon, sausage, and hash browns. Mona had pancakes with sausage. We were ready to start our day after a meal like that.”
“It was a dark and stormy night. My church lady friends and I, weary from a 4 hour drive just wanted to take a quick break with some cheap booze and a bite to eat. Unsure of where we even were (pretend we didn’t have gps or anything), we pulled off I-40, hoping to ask a kind gas station worker where we might find some dinner. Much to our surprise, attached to the very gas station we stopped at was a fine establishment called Ponchos and Amigos, aka El Toro Mexican Grille. Well Ole! I say!! Nothing says fiesta like a gas station taco stand combination building that also slings liquor! A fellow named Ron took us to our seats, dished out some chips and salsa and started the pours. 4 stars on my plate of enchiladas 10 stars on my peach margarita - cause they had that good ice! I begged the gals for one of them to pretend a birthday so that we could wear the sombrero and get the song - but it was a no bueno from them. We paid our reasonable bill and crammed ourselves back into the mid-sized SUV the 6 of us are sharing and are now heading up to our cabin. Hoping the Mexican comida doesn’t distance us later, as this trip is for bonding! If we’re ever together again on this side of our neighboring state we sure will be back! Muy bien, indeed!”
“SO GOOD! I had pork and my boyfriend had the brisket and both were amazing! We also tried the banana pudding! It was our first time there and we were greeted by such kind, friendly people who explained everything to us. Great experience!”
