“Drove from Charleston,TN after seeing reviews and pics from this adorable place ? the staff was very friendly and the place was different from the typical pizza place for sure. Everything was pretty clean I was worried about dust from all the items they have for sale however they seem to keep up on that. The fish tank kind of threw me off, maybe change what kind of fish are in the tank to a type of fish that can't possibly have several inches of fesces hanging off of them. My daughter pointed it out immediately and it sort of threw me off for dinner. We ordered 2 pizzas, one pepperoni and one half chz/half sausage. We got a cheese pizza and a half sausage/half cheese pizza. The staff said that we had made a change to our order before we paid and they had forgotten to rewrite on the paper they wrote the orders on so they took the cheese back immediately and added pepperoni on top which was fine but not completely the same. The staff was overly friendly trying to fix it and it only took a few minutes. The garlic knots were delicious ? I wish I had just gotten them. I could possibly be somewhat of a pizza snob but I found the pizza to be just ok, the sauce was somewhat bland and lacked more seasoning. It was just ok, not bad but nothing to drive back there for. Overall it is a fun place and I'm glad we went to try it ? also the ice cream! Possibly the best part ♥️”

“Good food! Nice restaurant all together! I always enjoy going here. I bring my dog to play outside and have a drink. The waitresses are always so kind and the bartenders are great as well. Been here several times never had an issue yet.”

“Wonderful service! Delicious food (so far, I've enjoyed the spring rolls & Phõ) w Jasmine tea. Happy to have more than green tea, tho I drink that daily anyhow ;) Mom had the fried rice which was a great flavor w scallions (and no shriveled peas thank goodness) All that we enjoyed, was of good quality: & fresh basil /cilantro/limes such as I love ... Ambience was clean & relaxed, 'mom & pop' place w a nice lil bar, in addition to nice rotation of nature/world photography. Cozy/dim lighting w booths (I also prefer this, to brightly lit spaces) Happy to find more vegetarian options in this town/ or in the south, generally! Love me some Vietnamese cuisine!!! Going to return (Business owners took the time to converse and approach the table abt menu items which was wonderful & appreciated: made me feel welcomed)”

“My dad bought us hotdogs from Kenny’s when I was just a little girl, and now I eat Kenny’s with my kids They have the best cheeseburger I have ever eaten, and their hotdogs- we called them “beer joint hotdogs,” are a thing of their own. Unique to the place, and never gets old. I won’t be rating the atmosphere, because we always get takeout.”

“Not having the ability to mix up items like going with a General Tso Shrimp is heartbreaking and stops this place from a 5 star. But outside of that the food is amazing! Hot and always fresh. They have came a long way and you can tell they master their craft. As a food reviewer I recommend everyone in the area of Dayton TN to come to this location primarily.Vegetarian options: I don't eat meat but Fish and Vegetables and Fruits and this place comes through every single time. I wish they was able to mix product like General Tso Shrimp for exampleKid-friendliness: The customer service with children is outstanding the women here makes the kids so welcomed makes me want to consider”

“Our CMA chapter rode up from Chattanooga for lunch. We had 9 motorcycles and 2 cars, 19 people in total. Gabe did an excellent job of taking care of us. It was absolutely the best service experience I've had in years. The food was delicious and the atmosphere very relaxing. Highly recommend a visit to Screen Door Kitchen.”

“Cashiers could be better. Today (8/18) there was a gentleman by the name of Isaac that took our order, he is very helpful, well spoken, and professional. He has made me change my mind on my previous review. Isaac when cleaning the dining area was going from table to table to ask some of the elderly if they needed anything such as refills or more condiments. He did not have to do that but that is what kind of employee/person he is.”
