The owner and her daughter are super friendly and helpful, and are very happy to assist you in figuring out what you need to get and suggesting ways to cook it! They also have Sushi grade Tuna and Salmon which is a lot more difficult to find out in a smaller city than you might think.
We didn't know this was here but saw it on our way to popeyes and went in. Everyone was super nice and we had good conversation about the products. (I talk too much but they seemed nice about it) We finally found somewhere that does sushi grade fish! So excited. And the shrimp are huge! Definitely going to frequent this market.
Not many places to get live gulf oysters around without having to goto Nashville, but 7 Sisters almost always has them. Small operation here, and selection changes frequently--so you know its fresh. Many items are frozen though, so plan for thawing time. Lotsa cajun options!
