I travel the country for work, I've been to many subways. This was one of my favorites. Young group working hard, taking their time to make good food. Nice community around it, cool to see how the workers interacted with the regulars (Mr. S). Everyone was close and friendly.
Subway food is pretty typical from store to store. This one is located inside a truck stop near an Interstate exit. When I stopped in for a late afternoon lunch, it was extremely busy. I stood in line for about 20 minutes before I could order. Part of the delay was poor staffing issues. One person was trying to do everything (take orders, toast bread, stuff sandwiches, take bread out of the oven, collect payment) while two other employees stood by and watched.
