This is only the second time I have been in a mellow mushroom restaurant chain. I did not eat the normal pizza so I can't comment on that. I had a salad and I would just say it was okay. Not up to what it cost. The atmosphere just isn't very welcoming to me, not terrible, but they probably ought to make some changes. The staff were attentive and friendly.
I have scored pizza here on several occasions, and it's always been primo stuff. I've never had a bad trip. The product is handed to you at the perfect moment for consumption. Get ready to trip on some excellent pie as you can almost see trails of deliciousness. It's like for a moment, all is right with the world. If you are looking for pizza, a calzone, or just want to try the tea, it's all high-quality stuff. That calzone was enough for 4 seshes! And it's ok if you want to experiment...read full review

My wife and I stopped in for a late evening snack. We each got custom pizzas. They had an extensive selection of toppings and when the pies came out they were perfect and delicious. Mellow Mushroom is a little pricey...our 2 pizzas with sodas and a calzone came to $100
