Simply a classic Mexican Grocery accompanied with a great restaurant. I love coming here to treat myself often. The menu is very diverse even for other such locations throughout all of East Tennessee. Friendly staff as well.
When I moved from California to Tennessee I thought I'd left behind street tacos and entered the land of ladeling nacho cheese on everything and calling it "authentic." Then I found La Perla! Soft corn tortillas, cilantro and onions on top of asada, pollo, or carnitas. Lengua and menudo if that's your thing. Almost every time I eat here I'm one of the only white faces in the room. If you want fancy tables and your tacos with a hard shell, tomatoes, and cheese, go someplace else....read full review

The truth is, very tasty, rich, excellent service, the girl who served us was very friendly. There I was able to transfer money to Mexico and the atmosphere is quiet, comfortable and fast. My respect, I recommend it.
