“Seating was prompt with friendly and welcoming staff. Staff were attentive in making sure we have drinks and extra chips and salsa with our meal. The fajitas were awesome! We had plenty to eat plus brought the extra home for lunch again the next day.“

“First time here and I am full. The food had great flavor with low to mild spice. The tea was delicious and hit the spot. Service was above average and the food was to the table quick. If I am in the area again and want Mexican food, I would go here again.“
“Every time we go,(and we go alot), it's so very good !!!! My waitress Teresa at Colonial Heights is so nice and we ask for her specifically. Me and my fiancee love the cheesesteak burrito and rice, (no lettuce or tomato). And we get an order of cheese dip, I'll put even more cheese dip on my cheesesteak burrito. Hands down my favorite place to eat and my favorite meal. Heck even their Tea is even superb, especially with a squeeze of lemon. My favorite meal, my favorite place !!! Will be back many many times !!!!“
“Typical Mexican restaurant that has gone through a few too many hands, as atmosphere goes but this is the best food I've ever had in a Mexican restaurant. Never greasy and very very tasty. Waitstaff isn't super strong on their English but they are very responsive!“
“I visited La Carreta at lunchtime and caught the lunch specials. I ordered the Taco Salad. The shell had a really good flavor, and it was loaded with ground beef. The server was very sweet and checked on me several times. The ladies' restroom was clean. Unfortunately, one of the faucets would not shut off, and it looked like it had been that way for a while. There was plenty of parking. This location is not too far off of the interstate, so it's an option for travelers as well as locals. I was working in the area that day, and this was my first time eating there. I had an enjoyable meal.“
“Stumbled upon this restaurant while leaving bay’s mountain. We got the authentic burrito with chicken steak and shrimp, authentic enchiladas, trio taco, steak tacos and even 5 year old was happy with pizza. No more having to drive to Asheville for California Mexican. Husband said this is the best Mexican since leaving California. Carlos also made this experience that much better!!“
