I love Wasabi, and have been coming here for years. It's probably the place I eat at most frequently when in Kingsport. They have never disappointed me in any way. The sushi and sashimi are always fresh and delicious. The staff is always welcoming and friendly.The salmon sashimi is my absolute favorite thing there! It's fresh and the texture is so smooth, like butter, it's amazing.
Charging way too much for food, the biggest reason I'll never go back is they add tips to bill. This is not lawful. I'll not be told what to tip. We always tip good more than 30% every where we go out to eat. Again, I'll not be told what to tip. Never eat at this restaurant

My tween wanted to try as she unexpectedly asked for sushi. She was so impressed and the waitress was so patient and kind with her. Food was good. Service was fairly quick. (Note we didn't do hibachi, but I have a feeling we will be at some point.)Pricing fair for quality and portion.
