“The perfect locally-owned diner experience which is hard to find nowadays, very friendly staff and owners too. I made it in right before they switched to lunch at 1030, and I ordered the Meat Lovers bowl with a side of biscuits and gravy.Watched the cook make my breakfast, she was very quick and put together everything effortlessly. The fried potatoes were crispy, the various meat was amazing, the cheese on top had a melty pull to it. Eat the massive bowl in minutes, and then devoured the biscuits and gravy. No complaints there either, very good. There's a reason the parking lot is full anytime of day, it's simply one of the last great diners in the area. Before I left they were smashing patties on the griddle for lunch and it smelled amazing, I can't wait to come back and try lunch!Parking: A few dozen spots and they keep it moving, full midday before lunch rush.Wheelchair accessibility: Depending if you can park up front, just a small curb and no steps into the doorway. No steps inside.“
“Get the fish & chips!! Loved this place. My husband and I came here from a recommendation from our Air BnB Host and they were not wrong! The food was superb! I wouldn’t normally order fish and chips but so glad I did! And Eddie was such a dear as our server, he was kind and informative. The atmosphere is great, but will be even better with warmer weather and they have their live music nights!“
“I had the Butter Burger and Cheese Curds, it was delicious. Chose this place on a whim and definitely wasn't disappointed. You also cannot beat the price! It was so cheap for what we got. Service was also wonderful. The young man who took our order was incredibly patient, personable and friendly. My only complaint is that there isn't a Culver's closer to my hometown. :'(“
“My boyfriend and I have been coming here since we first moved to the area and every single time our service has been stellar. Tonight, we were accidentally left alone for about 10 min after we first sat down, and both managers noticed quickly and promptly apologized and were so sweet and understanding. We were offered a free appetizer and were quickly served with our amazing dinner after ordering. We were both so impressed with you guys! Thank you again ❤️“
“It’s a guilty pleasure of mine that I come once a week on my lunch break. I never have to wait long even when they are busy, plus the food is always hot and fresh. And I love the crew. They are so nice and always recommend great shows to me. My favorite burger place/restaurant family by far!“
“This place is wonderful! The food is delicious and they have something for everyone here. We love D&B!Kid-friendliness: They gave my little girl 3 sheets of stickers to keep her busy while eating. She ended up spilling her drink and before I even had a chance to get up one of the staff was at our side moving our food to another table and cleaning the mess up.“
“The food is always reliably good here - we both had the chicken salad club sandwich; awesome! Only thing slightly 'amiss' this visit was ' server in training didn't come back to see if we needed anything after serving' (but she gets a pass as she's new) however, not picking up our dirty dishes was 'strike 2' even after the 'regular server' came to drop our our bill. And it wasn't particularly busy. We will of course go back; their service is usually 5 star!“
“This place was all around amazing! Burgers were phenomenal and the staff were super cool! Only downside was they were out of the tea and pudding (they claimed it was so good everyone bought it!). Will be returning for the the burgers and the things I missed!! 5/5 for “
“What a nice surprise! While on spring break in Gatlinburg we decided to visit Knoxville to see the world’s fair park and the University of Tennessee. Looking for a good place to eat this place was on the top of many search engines and we wanted to try it. It was wonderful, the service was great, the food was fresh and the portions are large! We enjoyed the burgers, but the fish looked amazing and I will be trying it next time!Parking: Parking is availability next door as well if you need to find some.“
“Food is always delicious, beer is always cold, & the staff/owners are always friendly. Definitely try their NE clam chowder, & the pineapple slaw! Oh, & live music too, like Mr Doug Wilhite!Other than that, it's a great place! ?“
“After plans to visit Smash City continued to fall through, I finally made it for the first time Friday afternoon. I came by at 2 something so it was an odd time and no one else was there. Let me start by saying that the double fried fries here are THE BEST I’ve ever had! I’ve lived on both coasts and now the Knox area, am a chubby MF’er who loves the best burgers and fries in the world and look folks, this is the spot! Seriously folks, when I had the fries and the smash burger here, I was trying to contain the unicorns and rainbows flying from every orifice! Definitely the BEST “smash” style burger too! Even the syrup mixture on the soda machine for the root beer was turned up to “painfully sweet”. Absolutely perfect!!! I WILL be back assuming the stent and quad bypass are successful. Lol (knock on wood). Don’t forget to bring change for the meters during the week!“
“Looking for some good tasting cold beer, and some really good burgers, well this is the place. Stopped in after our meeting and glad we did. The burgers were the bomb, cooked just the way you asked for it, fresh and juicy. And the beer, it's cold and refreshing, yeah even in the late winter. March is our burger month, so when we go out, we try to find the best burger around. This place makes our top 3 of 9 places between Johnson City and Knoxville. We'll keep posting if we find some more surprises. Don't worry guys we shall return.“
“Great little place that supports our military. I had a cheeseburger which was very good, my wife had a Philly cheese steak which was top notch. Our server whose name was Sarah was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return and recommend to others.“
“My wife and I visited around 3pm ish today. The place was a little smaller than I expected, but it was nice. As for the food.... she had the beef chimichanga with cheese sauce, rice and refried beans. I had a Taco Boy combo with a beef burrito and chile relano both with white sauce as well as refried beans and rice. I also had a cow tongue taco on the side. All of the food was amazing with lots of flavor. I had a tongue taco years ago and have been wanting another. It was great. Going to try a pig stomach taco next time. Wanted to today but was too full. Our server was Chuy. VERY nice and checked on us frequently. I HIGHLY recommend this place. It's now in my Top 3 mexican restaurants that I like.“
“Closed on Mondays and opens up at 11 am. Home of the Free Fries and I'll tell you, they are good. I recommend the #5 Lil' Dom, but if that's not enough to get the Big Dom. Absolutely love this place. I eat there all the time.“
“We were traveling and my wife was looking for a place to eat. Litton's came up and we weren't disappointed. I got a cheeseburger and onion rings. My wife had a chicken salad sandwich, also with onion rings. The burger was great. The chicken salad was just chicken salad, no fillers. The onion rings were on a planet by themselves. Crispy, melt in your mouth. Have you ever taken a bite of one and had the entire onion come out of the crust? Not these. Have I mentioned the deserts? After you order your meal, walk by the display case. Most bakeries would pale in comparison. We shared a strawberry cake. If you find yourself close by it's worth stopping in.“
“The food options are many and the quality and prices were good. Please please if the management of this place reads this, for the love of all that is holy, put something on the chair legs' bottoms to prevent the chairs from making that blood curdling screech when you scoot them across the floor. It is the worst sound ever and really destroys the dining experience“
“Nice little mom an pop restaurant the food is really good the service is awesome an the portions are definitely worth the money. An the people that come in here are great as well. It's just a great place to eat. an the culture of it just reminds you of how it should be without all the hustle an bustle of fast food. You won't meet a stranger in here!! Don't take my word for it. Try it yourself!! Your going to love it!!Kid-friendliness: This restaurant is just a great place to take your family“
“I absolutely loved coming here probably a new favorite and reason for me to want to drive the hour and a half to Knoxville . I know some people mentioned you can order at the table but you do have the option to order at the register so it's really up to you on how you want to order. The food wad great I loved the crunchy tots the shakes was so good I probably could have just gotten that ? I would recommend a stop here for a laid back fun environment.“
“I have been getting the Reuben with Swiss sandwich at Jacob's for many years and have always said it was the best Reuben sandwich in Knoxville. However today was not the case. My sandwich although good did not have the Swiss cheese that makes it so gooey and excellent.(I did ask for it with the Swiss cheese!) I also ordered a small order of onion rings and a side salad. The salad in the past always has crackers included, but were not included today for some reason. Also, prices have gone up! Jacob's has always been a great place to eat and the staff very friendly. Maybe just an off day?? Hate to see prices go up and quality go down!“
“Hit the drive thru after the eclipse. Got Sundaes with extra stuff and cheese curds based off a recommendation. Food was correct and fresh. W's on all items. Elijah even got our dog a pup cup, which she killed before we even got our curds, which were very decent and really don't need the marinara.“
“While it can take awhile to get your food, it is always pretty good. I like how your dog can sit out on the patio. The hosts ( i was seated by a tall blonde girl) are sweet and mackenzie and Lisa are so nice! The man named Dennis ( i believe is his name) gave me the creeps though. This place does seem to have a high turnover. Always new people everytime i come in. Must be a management issue. The place is clean and i like the outdoor option. All in all I think it's a good place to go in the choto area.“
“A rainy Thursday (1/25/24) afternoon. No better place than Ruby Tuesday for lunch. Basically we had the place to ourselves at 3 pm. Party of 4. Lisa S., our server, was polite, cheerful and accommodating. The salad bar was fully stocked, fresh and crisp. The food was as good as possible. Had to take home leftovers. Yummy ?“
“When we received our check, there was a 3% convenience charge added for anyone that uses a debit or credit card which they don’t bother to ever mention but instead circle the fee amount on your bill when they bring it to you. We frequent a lot of restaurants in Knoxville and that is the first encounter we’ve had with a convenience fee. Food was great though.“
“In short, I'm a fan! Ever since they opened this location, my family and I eat here a few times a month. I have young kids, so we do takeout a lot (and order online using the app). It's been a solid experience every time. We especially like the grilled chicken strips, regular Buffalo Ranch chicken sandwich, and the Nashville Hot salad... oh and the custard (of course)!“
“Double Dogs went above and beyond! My husband & I have a 2 year old son who is disabled and in a wheelchair. The employees noticed us getting out of the car. One held the door open for us and another sat us at a table. The table already had a chair pulled out to make room for my son’s wheelchair and a kids menu with crayons waiting for him! As I sat down I had tears in my eyes. Most everywhere we go people are nice and accommodating, but double dogs anticipated our needs and I didn’t have to ask for anything. A lot of places also assume our son won’t be interested in crayons, and while we have to help him color, we enjoy coloring with him. Thank you double dogs for accommodating our family and treating our son with such respect!“
“We ordered takeout, our order was quick and the staff was friendly. The order was done just right and I wish now we would have eaten there. We went there on a Tuesday approximately 630pm and it was not busy. I also got a mocha shake and it was awesome! Thanks for your friendly service.“
“not bad at all for the price, and the late hours are convenient. also there is a cool history to this iconic Tennessee deli full of orange memorabilia! The location and web presence are managed well under the leadership of Aaron the owner who is kind and responsive to most customers. top notch guy who runs the ship of this must-see knoxville food joint. late nights and Vol game days here are unbeatable. a tradition unlike any other for any and every UTk student! GBO and go to Gus’s“
“Didn't have to wait for table long, very friendly staff. Their steak is cooked to perfection as to however you want it. The seasoning are excellent and my wife's favorite is the shrimp/chicken platter. Can keep up with sports also while you're out, that's cool ?“
“Ordered the Elvis burger today for lunch! It’s a fresh cooked burger topped with peanut butter, bacon and caramelized sliced banana using hot honey served (which I omitted the hot honey due to health issues) on a Brioche bun. Completed my burger with fries and topped with queso cheese (not spicy)! If you want something other than fries, for an upcharge you can choose one of their other side choices (waffle fries, onion rings, sweet potato fries).“
“Very bright, clean and fresh feeling as I dined in. My food was delivered to me in the dining area. I received fresh and delicious food. I had the $7 special, chicken strips, fries and a sundae. The customer service was great and the place was a breath of fresh air. I even enjoyed the music that was playing. The patio are was super nice too.“
“1st time here and shocked me Mike the owner is a really cool guy great guest he had come in. The crowd there was huge never seen this bar before its sits in back off kp behind taco bell check it out you won't be disappointed also they have wings burgers pizza and was great. Look forward to go back“
“This was our second time here. The first time they messed up on our wings which they replaced. :)We came today for the game and they have a very limited food menu that was slightly over priced. My recommendation would be lower your phone prices so your customers can buy more alcohol. It would be great if you had hotdogs for game day. Lower your food prices for game day and we will be back“
“Where do I start? OK, if I must choose:? Reuben Pizza… so laden with tender corned beef, cheese, tangy sauerkraut, and Thousand Island dressing that I need to wear a back brace in order to carry it.? Hummus platter… so perfectly prepared. The Nirvana of snackage.? Baklava… do you know that all Harby’s desserts are home/baked daily? Well now you do. And the Baklava is the best I have ever, ever eaten in all my 70 years of being a connoisseur of the stuff.? The staff: cheerful, efficient, friendly, and incredible. Always a pleasure to come in and pick up my order. Kudos!“
“This place is a hidden Knoxville gem! The food is delicious, the service is warm and friendly, and the restaurant is very clean and welcoming! The manager Lisa is very hands on and greets every customer with a warm friendly smile and blesses each customer as they leave with "have a blessed night." I felt like I was eating at home with family!“
“Great, as always! Our service was friendly and courteous. She paid attention to our drink refill needs and checked to see if we needed anything.Parking: Plenty of parking all around the building.Kid-friendliness: The kids' menu has many selections. They also have a kids' coloring sheet/menu with crayons.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible parking and wheelchair accessible seating. Very accommodating.“
“This is the best Five Guys I’ve ever been to. We make a special trip to Knoxville a few times a year just for this Five Guys location (for at least the past 6 years). We have at least 3 other locations within 15 minutes of us, but we will drive an hour and a half for this one. It’s really that good.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free option (no bread) if you have celiac disease.Kid-friendliness: Always kid friendly.“
“I hadn't been in decades, but i was presently suprised! UT was on, a plus✔️ my Chicken fantastic, our steaks great and the baked potato so good my cat for the 1st time in her long life fough off our bourder collie, to keep the peel all to herself!I will be back and order with a dogie bag in mind!“
“This place is so delicious! Very laid back, pretty quiet, perfectly cute and the food is really exceptional! Lots of patio seating and a few big tables inside. Highly recommend the truffle park fries!Kid-friendliness: Lots of babies and toddlers were here on the Sunday evening, and there’s a big grassy place (for now) next-door to run and play.“
“Each and every staff member there put love into their job and even when it's really really busy they always have a smile they always say hello they're just amazing I love going to the one off North shore close to pellissippi parkway they're all amazing“
“I never leave a 5 star review for a fast food restaurant but this Wendy’s always has incredible service and consistent food. I can’t think of a time my order was messed up or I waited for a long time for my food. I can’t say that about any other fast food location in Knoxville other than Chick-fil-A.“
“I love Peros and their food is always amazing. The staff is friendly and efficient. I absolutely despise their parking situation but the food is so good, its worth having to deal with it. I recommend getting there early (or late) for dinner or you will struggle to park. Their patio is unique and beautiful and my favorite place to sit. Sometimes they have entertainment outside, which is fun. I definitely recommend Peros, especially for date night!“
“This is the BEST McDonald's in alllllllllll of Knoxville and I have been to just about all of them. The food is always fresh and hot and the order correct. I am a little extra so I always do things like add tomato to my sausage biscuits or extra tartar to my filet o fish, always something, they never miss a beat and the extra is there. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. No matter what time of day you go they never disappoint. Make sure you eat here and support greatness.“
“This is a great place to go if you really need to use a fast food drive through. The burger was tasty and the toppings were fresh. The french fries were much better than most of the fast food joints on the road today. Price wise it was only a few dollars more than what you paid today for a meal at McDonald's and the quality was excellent.“
“This was a great experience Gina our server was awesome.ee both got the bourbon street chicken and shrimp that chicken was so tender .we also had dessert.I got the Wonderful Blondie and my husband got the chocolate cake that was awesome. We also got the cheese sticks .“
“Food is good. I eat here often since I work in the building. The new paper containers are awful though. They break down when moist food is placed in them so you end up eating bits of paper container along with your food. I stopped ordering omelettes because of this issue. The oil/butter on the eggs turns the container to mush. I understand wanting to be earth friendly but, maybe there is another alternative.“
“Applebee's is a great place to eat. Something for everyone and it's all good. They have some good deals like lunch specials and 2 for $20 specials.. The staff is friendly.. If you go to Merchants Drive, ask for Jake for your server.“
“Service was great, food was to. Hardly noone was there but still received good serviceVegetarian options: Plenty of choices fruits, vegetables, potatoesDietary restrictions: The have protein pancakesParking: Free parking lotKid-friendliness: They have a kids menus with plenty of choicesWheelchair accessibility: Wide open doors and seating accomodations“
“I love the chili because there lots of meat and soup and less of the big hard, undercooked beans like other places have. And they were friendly with the fact I had a puppy with me.Recommend this Wendy's over other locations.Especially if you like chili.“
“Stock & Barrel had about a 30 minute wait for our party of 3 at 6pm on a Wednesday. Once we sat down and tasted the food, we realized why this Knoxville gem was so popular. We started off with the Opa!, which is a uniquely grilled hunk of feta covered in honey. What a fabulous tasty appetizer this was. Warm and crispy feta is something we've never had before and the honey added such a sweet touch. I tried to save a piece for after the meal, but my wife and I couldn't stop and finished the whole thing before the real food arrived. For my meal, I got the tomato salad with a salmon patty on top. It's a plate loaded with tomatoes soaked in balsamic flavor. Absolutely delicious and fresh. And the salmon patty was crispy on the outside and soft and luscious on the inside, with fresh salmon taste. I don't have salmon patties/burgers often, but this was the best one I've ever had.For a Wednesday night, service was kinda slow, but it was awfully crowded. We see that as a good thing for a local restaurant to be so busy mid week. But just go in expecting to wait a bit, both for a table and for your order to be taken and delicious food to be delivered. For such a huge bar, I was disappointed in the beer choices. I was given 3 to choose from on tap. But my wife was impressed with the bourbon and whiskey selections. And she absolutely loved the look of the bar, saying she wants to install something similar at home. We'll see about that.If you are looking for a hearty meal in a cool atmosphere in downtown Knoxville and you have a bit of time, Stock & Barrel is definitely a recommended choice.Vegetarian options: Our 12 year old pescatarian did just fine, but there weren't a lot of choices.Parking: The garage next door was very full, we ended up on the top floor. But because of the slow service, we ended up leaving after 8 which meant we didn't have to pay for the garage!“
