This might be some of the best fried chicken i've ever had. The Chicken is incredible and the Plantains and Cabbage salad on the side are so good. Tacos here are also great, an all around great authentic experience.
If you love hole-in-the-wall roadside restaurants with the BEST authentic Central American fare in Knoxville, look no further! El Tipico is one of our go-to regulars because the food is always amazingly fresh and delicious, and the service is always friendly.
The plates were huge and the portions were big and the owner and waitress were super friendly and nice - don't let the outside scare you away as it was worth every dollar for all four of us to eat there
