“At the end of my meal I looked over at the cook and said "This is exactly what I needed." I had the pulled pork w/potato salad & Mac n' Cheese. This was some of the most authentic bar-b-que I've had in a while and I am very happy I took the time to head over.“
“Had the 3 meat meal (pulled pork, smoked chicken, smoked sausage) with potato salad and coleslaw. They all had good flavor but the sausage was nothing really special, tasted like some that I cook on my own firepit or gas grill. The potato salad and coleslaw had good flavor. The plate comes with a choice of 2 sides and Texas toast or cornbread. Asked for a diet coke with no ice, was brought a 20 ounce bottle ($3). There was a fountain drink machine there but was not told when ordering the drink that it was only a bottle. I don't know if we could have gotten another or not, didn't ask but assumed would be charged another $3. Don't know if any fountain drinks were working since all of us in the party got diet Cokes. Did see other customers with glasses of drink but don't know what they were drinking.“
“Their BBQ is very good. I got the Hot vinegar based sauce. I always get my BBQ hot but this was one of the hotter sauces I've had before. It was great but if you're on the fence between mild and hot you might play it safe and get the mild.My one minor complaint is that they could use a few more sides to go with the BBQ.We went through the drive thru and the young lady that waited on us was very nice and did a great job.“
“Ordered 2 hot fudge cakes to go.They put in Styrofoam and then in sack. Dumped out in sack and were melted. Been going there for 30 years and never seen that. Hope new owners aren't changing too much. Might gain in "efficiency ", but might just lose long time customers. We'll be back. Don't give up that easy.“
