The details with the dated menu and birthday card impressed me. The food impressed me even more. I had the scallion hushpuppies as an appetizer — the sauce that’s paired with them absolutely sealed the deal with my tastebuds. I also had the slow cooked egg gnocchi, which was a classy spin on chicken and dumplings. Based on the description, I was hesitant. But it was highly, HIGHLY recommended by our waitress, so I took a leap. My gosh, I was tilting the bowl and drinking even the very last drops of the broth. I simply cannot wait to come back here and try new things. Thank you, chef!”

The best thing I like about this restaurant is that once they server says they're going to be right back with drinks, grab your boxes, or even bring you your bill, ect. they do it immediately. “I have been seeing lots of adds on Facebook for this pizzeria. I finally decided to order a pizza to my office for delivery. Normally, I do not like to order pizza for delivery because the time the pizza gets to me, it is soggy and taste like it has been sitting around too long. This pizza was one of the best pizzas I have ordered since moving to Knoxville. I ordered the margherita pizza with extra veggies and it was delicious. My co-workers could not believe how fresh the pizza was and the crust was so light and yummy. I would order from this restaurant again and I cannot wait to go into the restaurant and see what else they offer.”

“Top 3 best meals of all time. Exactly what you hope for with a lodge. The food was some of the best I have have had. The chef prepared all the food to a T, nothing over or under seasoned. The service was excellent. A great place for foodies. I suggest the charcuterie board, short ribs, and follow up with the bourbon pecan butterscotch cake and coffee.Dress code - we dressed up for an anniversary dinner and didn't feel overdressed, but you can wear a nice pair of jeans or resort wear.Parking: When you pull in stay to the left ( the restaurant is to the left)”

“My favorite coffee shop. The guys are super kind and informative, the atmosphere is elegant and cozy (but it’s very popular so it gets a little loud sometimes). Drinks are amazing of course — we buy their roasts for our at home coffee almost exclusively. One thing, the drinks run very sweet so you may want to ask for half sweet.”

“This was our first time trying Foothills Milling Co. We had no reservation and the front staff was very accommodating. We were sat in the bar area almost immediately and it was lovely. Hannah N. was our waitress. She was so very pleasant and made us feel like we were the only ones she was waiting on. My wife and I ordered the dry aged NY strip steak. We are both steak lovers and can tell you where to go for great steak. We always compare every steak to our best steak. Although this was not the best steak WE have had, It was the first dry aged steak we had and it had a unique flavor that we both enjoyed very much. They also have there own in house steak sauce that I felt took away from the flavor of the steak but on its own was delicious. All the sauces that we tasted throughout the evening were delightful. In addition to the steak we also tried the lobster crab cakes and they we so delicate and delicious. Three sauces came with the cakes. The sides were a spinach casserole and a potato au gratin. Both were very good. As we were waiting, our wonderful waitress Hannah brought us a delicious basket of bread, a treat from the chef and a palate cleansing lemon sorbet prior to our steaks arrival. As far as the price, it is exactly what I would expect to pay for a good steak and the steak was the most expensive thing on the menu so do not be afraid to give them a try. I will defiantly be visiting more often.A special shout out to our waitress Hannah, If I am ever in the position to higher someone with people skills such as yours, You have the job.Parking: 2 parking lots, 3 if you count the one in the back but I do not.”

“Wow! I'm so glad I decided to come eat here. I am a huge fan of Korean style food. I've never had Korean Fried Chicken before and now I'm not sure I want it any other way. I had the Garlic Soy Gizzards and a side of fries and I left very full. The owner (David) was the one who greeted me and served me. Great guy that seems to really care about the quality of his food and cleanliness of his restaurant. Do yourself a favor and eat here as soon as you can! It will not disappoint.”

I made it in right before they switched to lunch at 1030, and I ordered the Meat Lovers bowl with a side of biscuits and gravy.Watched the cook make my breakfast, she was very quick and put together everything effortlessly. The fried potatoes were crispy, the various meat was amazing, the cheese on top had a melty pull to it. Eat the massive bowl in minutes, and then devoured the biscuits and gravy. No complaints there either, very good.There's a reason the parking lot is full anytime of day, it's simply one of the last great diners in the area. Before I left they were smashing patties on the griddle for lunch and it smelled amazing, I can't wait to come back and try lunch!Parking: A few dozen spots and they keep it moving, full midday before lunch rush.Wheelchair accessibility: Depending if you can park up front, just a small curb and no steps into the doorway. “This is one of the best ice cream shops I have ever been to! Unique flavors, creamy, and big portions! They also sell delicious in house made pretzels! We thoroughly enjoyed every flavor we had and we WILL return again! Their workers were very friendly and helpful, shop is very inviting, clean, chic, and outside there is a super cute, fun kid play area with picnic tables. “Stock & Barrel had about a 30 minute wait for our party of 3 at 6pm on a Wednesday. Once we sat down and tasted the food, we realized why this Knoxville gem was so popular. We started off with the Opa!, which is a uniquely grilled hunk of feta covered in honey. What a fabulous tasty appetizer this was. Warm and crispy feta is something we've never had before and the honey added such a sweet touch. I tried to save a piece for after the meal, but my wife and I couldn't stop and finished the whole thing before the real food arrived.For my meal, I got the tomato salad with a salmon patty on top. It's a plate loaded with tomatoes soaked in balsamic flavor. Absolutely delicious and fresh. And the salmon patty was crispy on the outside and soft and luscious on the inside, with fresh salmon taste. I don't have salmon patties/burgers often, but this was the best one I've ever had.For a Wednesday night, service was kinda slow, but it was awfully crowded. We see that as a good thing for a local restaurant to be so busy mid week. But just go in expecting to wait a bit, both for a table and for your order to be taken and delicious food to be delivered. For such a huge bar, I was disappointed in the beer choices. I was given 3 to choose from on tap. But my wife was impressed with the bourbon and whiskey selections. And she absolutely loved the look of the bar, saying she wants to install something similar at home. We'll see about that.If you are looking for a hearty meal in a cool atmosphere in downtown Knoxville and you have a bit of time, Stock & Barrel is definitely a recommended choice.Vegetarian options: Our 12 year old pescatarian did just fine, but there weren't a lot of choices.Parking: The garage next door was very full, we ended up on the top floor. But because of the slow service, we ended up leaving after 8 which meant we didn't have to pay for the garage!”
