The Appalachian Bistro at Dancing Bear Lodge is closed on Monday and Tuesday nights, as are a couple of other recommended restaurants in Maryville (the closest town of any size). Sullivan's is a good alternative, albeit a 15-20 minute drive away.
Great staff, friendly service, great food with normal and funky options. We loved sitting outside on the sidewalk with the kids. They enjoyed watching the cars pass while we waited for our food. Fun place!

I can’t get over how great our server was tonight! They were under staffed but she was still amazing!!! We had a small event tonight in one of the rooms and I can’t figure why I have never thought of this before!!! Highly recommend!!! ?
