The smoked aroma and flavor left a pleasant lasting impression that will stay with me for some time to come.The only complaint was that the BBQ sauce was watery. Outside of that I had a good experience. The young man at the counter was friendly and the food came out of the kitchen quickly. The establishment looked clean and had that small town feel. I recommend giving it a visit.”

“I'm not sure if anywhere is as good as it was before COVID, but this place is close. Food is always a bit greasy, but it is a diner. You pay a little more, but the portions are pretty big. The waitresses are always fun, and the decor definitely takes you back to a better time.”

“I had to take an emergency trip to Paris, Tn because of a medical issue my Mom had. We spent all day in the hospital and somebody made a run for dinner. I had a potato fully loaded with chicken and all the fixings. It was delicious and more than I could eat for $8”

“Always a treat visiting this chick fil a. You wouldn't think there would be one in McKenzie of all places. The food is always served hot and fresh. Facility is kept clean and tidy. Workers are friendly. The location is stuffed in a Bethel building, but that doesn't stop the place from being a hit with locals.”

“We ordered takeout from here a few times now. The first time, very disappointing food. Lo mein was awful, slimy and cold. Flavorless. Absolutely horrible. That was about 6 months ago. Last week we ordered takeout and it was AMAZING. Tonight we ordered, and the food was so good!! Crispy egg rolls, crunchy yet tender cabbage and savory flavor. My szechuan beef was so delicious. The rice was fluffy and soft. Excellent! What a turnaround for me this has been.”

“Very warm and friendly atmosphere. Such nice kids working in this store. Every time I come in there even it's just me in the store, all three or four employees they always welcome me with a smile and wait eagerly to serve me. One young man, his name is William I like to especially thank for taking the time explaining to me what the Beast sandwich was. Store is always clean, meat and veggies are always fresh and they always get my order right, which is important. I've seen reviews on here about the workers canceling online orders. I had my online order canceled before and I called the main Subway office to inquire about it and I was told the software automatically cancels the orders and still isn't fixed, it's not the workers and they can't give you a refund because the order never actually went through. The software will automatically put it back on your card which happened with me. So don't blame workers for that it's not their fault”

“The food here is absolutely amazing. The chef cooks to order almost everything except the specials of the day. Her vegan vanilla cake is soooo moist and one of the best cakes I have EVER tasted. A MUST try.The mock tuna sandwich on her homemade bread was out of this world.This little hidden gem is well worth the travel. The food is remarkable, and her portion sizes are like what grandma would give, PLENTY, and the price is pleasantly reasonable.”

“Well when you arrive you will have to dodge the water puddles to park. Looking at the building will have you wondering if this could the right place.Prepare yourself for some real surprises. BYOB if you want wine with your dinner. We ordered stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and it was good. My wife ordered five onion French Onion Soup. It was utterly Fantastic. Salad was mediocre at best. Main course the ladies both ordered grouper with once and Parmesan cheese. They said it was very good. The men both ordered Veal Chop piccata and it was the best we have ever had. Portions are unbelievably generous. This place is a real Gem. Also ask for Summer to be your server. She was absolutely delightful.”

“Interesting place, nice atmosphere and employees. The food fell a bit short for us. We had the firehouse chili, which was okay, with grilled Pimento cheese. The Pimento cheese was very different and not to mine nor my daughters liking. It was cold and on toast, not grilled. We also had the Roasted red pepper bisque. The bisque was much too watery compared to other bisque we've had. We will try other items as I'm sure they have some excellent choices. They do have great drink options, including beer and wine.”
