I grew up in the apartments next door to this restaurant on College St but I have moved out of Memphis since then. But, I remain faithful to this place because every time I come to town I have to get one of Mr. Al's chili cheese hot dogs, cheeseburger. I have been eating Al's since I was a kid. Food is always great and consistent. I've had the burger, footlong, and chicken philly. All are always great and the people are super chill. I was slick sad when they closed down but God knows as long as I'm in Memphis, I am getting my two chili cheese footlongs with slaw. Its something about that chili bruh. Went to Memphis to visit Graceland and took a chance on this whole in the wall burger place based on the previous reviews. Let's just say we weren't disappointed! Hands down one of the best burgers we've ever had! The burger was nice and juicy filled with lots of flavor! As a bonus it's less than 5 minutes from Graceland if you're visiting there! Prices are very reasonable as well. Would definitely go back to this place if we're ever in Memphis again.
