“If you are looking for a cozy little Italian place with good food, check out Cocozza on Harbor Town! Amazing food and atmosphere! We had the garlic bread, Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Piccata, and cheesecake. All delicious! Maybe the best cheesecake I’ve had.I feel like we don’t have a lot of great Italian places in Memphis. Definitely worth checking out.“
“We stopped in for dinner after a less than stellar meal at another restaurant. First, the menu is incredible and executed to perfection, with care and discipline. Second, Marvin is a professional-class server; he treats every table as if it were his only one. Third, the front desk manager went out of her way to make us feel welcome on our celebration evening. If you've read Guidara's 'Unreasonable Hospitality' and wondered where to find it in Memphis, it's here.“
“where do I start? ?the service is chefs kiss ?- I’ve always had amazing servers who try to make our experience special.✨I could write a love song aboutthe wedge salad. I get it every time.✨I dream about the thunderbird pizza. (also, all the pizzas can come gluten free! big win) It’s slightly spicy and sweet.✨I wish I could swim in the espresso martini.. I think it's the best one in Memphis. they have a revolving drink menu and I've never tried one I didn't like.my only complaint is it's a little loud in the center of the room so it's hard to hear if you're sitting at a large table.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“We had food delivered to our office for a retirement party. Our delivery driver was delightful and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious. The delivery option was so convenient. The delivery driver set up everything. I would highly recommend if you are looking for authentic Italian flavors!“
“I usually order the pizzas. Love their pizzas! Decided to try something different today. I had the calzone, not a fan! I'll stick with their pizza. If you love cheese you'll love the calzone. It's FILLED with cheese. Could have had a few more toppings to balance it out but all of the topping are extra.“
“Ciao Bella has to be 1 of my favorite restaurants in Memphis! Every dish I've had has been absolutely delicious! I try to save food to take home every time, but it never makes it! The service is amazing and I love how they designed the new restaurant! It's elegant but still very much inviting. I like to think of Ciao bella as my little well-known secret that I don't like sharing.“
“Amerigo is a great Italian restaurant for families. My one complaint is the tip is automatically added to the total bill on top of the tax which makes it even higher than standard 20%. I always tip well relative to the service, but it’s irritating to be given no choice.I understand it’s standard for large parties, but our most recent dinner was 3 adults & 2 little kiddos. Not cool.“
“This is one of our favorite restaurants! I used to work here years ago and know the chef, Marty personally. The food is authentic Italian and ingredients are very fresh! The atmosphere is very chill, posh feel. We went for my 30th birthday dinner, and Maryna took care of my entire party! Everyone enjoyed their food and the ambiance!! The chef Marty came out to introduce himself, he is very personable yet professional. My husband says he needs to order red trout to-go after work. My bolognese eggplant parmigiano was cooked to perfection! I have missed the realness and rawness of the flavors and ingredients! Super thumbs up, my family and friends will be back along with us!Parking: If the parking lot in front of the restaurant is full you can park right next door at shared lot.Kid-friendliness: Not a kid scene but are welcome. My one year old niece joined us and was accommodated just fine.Wheelchair accessibility: First level seating with no steps.“
“We tried the Pesto Alfredo with Shrimp (needed extra sauce), Lasagna, and the Half and Half (Ravioli and spaghetti). Everything was huge portions and tasted delicious. Warning: this is old fashioned Italian meat sauce that some refer to as a gravy, not your standard American spaghetti sauce.“
“We didn't have reservations, but since it was early they were able to accommodate my party of 5. Our server was excellent and knew their menu front and back. Drinks were excellent. Fried mushrooms were also delicious. The only drawback was that for a wood fired pizza, there was no wood fired taste. I saw the wood and I saw the fire. I think the pizza might have been better if it was cooked a few minutes longer. The crust had a good chew, but needed a bit more integrity.“
“The Walker Avenue location hosted our church basketball team’s pizza party and did a PHENOMENAL job. The staff was very accommodating of our large group and provided us with everything we needed. The food was delicious and we will definitely look to them for future group events!“
“A pleasant discovery! Being Italian I came to this restaurant with low expectations, mainly because my children wanted pasta, but instead I left satisfied. The cauliflower appetizer was delicious as were the other dishes tried. The pasta was perhaps a little too seasoned for Italian taste, but it was still well executed. Only the tiramisu was disappointing, having nothing to do with the Italian original.Kid-friendliness: There is no children's menu, but I got a whole portion of pasta which I divided for my children“
“Found this little gem while I was in town for business. The lunch special was excellent. Good size portions and favor was spot on. The outside is nothing to look at and the neighborhood might be a bit sketchy but I'm glad I ignored that and went inside. Try it yourself, you won't be disappointed.“
“Food was hot and delicious. Service was great! Although it was a busy weekend, we didn’t wait long for a table and food arrived quickly!!Parking: Needs a bigger lot we had to drive through a couple of times and wait for someone to come out.“
“We absolutely love this place! My husband proposed to me here, so it has a very special place in our hearts ?. The food is amazing! I've had the Chicken Marco Polo many times and it never disappoints. Great drink options and the service is always top notch whether you sit in the dining room or at the bar!“
“Amazing food and amazing customer service. I've gone in there two weeks in a row now, and the 2 guys working there, Dwayne and Ken, are always incredibly friendly, talkative, and funny. They move quickly and make great sandwiches. The sandwiches are some of the best I've ever had, and for the amount of meat and toppings you get, the price is very competitive.“
“Absolutely stellar pizza spot! From the mouthwatering aroma that greets you at the door to the perfect blend of cheese and sauce on every slice, this place is a true gem. The friendly staff adds a delightful touch to the overall experience. A must-try for any pizza enthusiast!“
“Literally had the best time of my life there last night! Grayson was the most attentive bartender I have experienced in Memphis! If you go for the drinks I suggest the cucumber jalapeño tequila! The pizza was superb and the whole place is just a vibe!“
“Best food in Mid South stop going to that other place. Just put your order in and eat to make your stomach feel loved. Thanks to the the team for cooking food joy! Chef hats off to Brain Food. Order fast Grizzlies, Titans fans food flying out the door!Kid-friendliness: Fast service I GOT THING TO DO! THANKS BRAIN FOOD!“
“Great customer service... When I call in my order I'm always greeted with a nice voice on the other end very friendly and when I arrive for my order it's always on points. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my salad plus the customer service is excellent. Briana is the best.“
“I ordered online to pick up, I live over 30 minutes away but it's definitely worth it. Ordered 3 large pizzas, all 3 the pizza maker(s) did a great job generously applying the various toppings. Also in orders 2 orders of wings, one honey bbq and 1 mild. The honey bbq was fine, nothing really to write home about but not was a nice thick sauce, not runny or anything. Now the mild, that was a really well done Buffalo sauce. I walked in, gave my name, the cashier got my food (I had paid on the website) and I was right back out the door and headed back on the road for the 30+ minute drive home. Everyone was quite happy with this dinner and I will definitely visit this location again!! As far as inside seating it looks like there's just a few tables so it's not really designed to be an est in place more of a take away.“
“Bari restaurant is fantastic!! Joy was our waitress- so friendly and helpful and fun! Hunter’s Honey cocktail- amazing, followed by Zucchini Fritters and Latuga salad- exquisite. The homemade bread with dipping is delicious also. My husband had seared Tuna that he loved. My pasta with crab was good, but I will opt for something else next time. Our desserts, vanilla cake with raspberry and pistachio was just amazing. My husband liked his chocolate pudding- I didn’t taste it. Such an amazing experience. The best Italian we have had in Memphis. Go try it out!!!“
“Ordered a muffuletta they didn’t have the meats ? so ordered the Italian hoagie and tomato basil soup. Both were very good. Bought some take out meals but haven’t tried yet will update post when I do. Very interesting place with lots of good looking take out meals. I’ll definitely be back I still want to try the muffuletta! Hopefully they’ll be prepared when I do.I did think the ordering process was awkward. There’s a check out counter but you go over to another area and look over a tall stand through a narrow space to place your order then go to the checkout counter to pay.“
“I always order take-out so I can't comment on atmosphere. I enjoy the food. The portion sizes are more than adequate and the prices are very reasonable. $18-$24 for food of this quality compared to fast food places around $12... no contest. OG is my fast food replacement. ?“
“Decided to see if I could order a slice of pepperoni pizza and take it out to a small patio out front. It was empty inside with 4 on the patio eating when I walked in at 4:40, a guy behind the counter took my order at 4:47 and I had my slice at 4:52. Total was only 5.26 including a .32 service charge and I enjoyed the sauce and thin crust on their pie, just ask for it to go, take it out to the patio to the left of the entrance and enjoy!“
“Little Italy Downtown is the go-to pizza place in Memphis for me. The test is whether a plain cheese pizza is good, and Little Italy's plain has the perfect flavor and cheesiness which reminds me of New York pizza. Pizzas with toppings are excellent as well. Little Italy Downtown isn't great for dining in - there aren't a lot of tables, it's best if lunch or a quick dinner. Still, a slice of pizza and a can of soda are only about $8, it's the best lunch you can get at that price.“
“Atmosphere takes a hit for being to friggin cold. I get that busy staff gets hot. However they weren't that busy. Food was excellent, never ending soup and salad always a winner for lunch. Other lunch menu items seem a bit overpriced for lunch.“
“First time dining in and we were pleasantly surprised! Great menu and food options. Love the different pizza crust-style options (Chicago, Detroit etc.) Great craft beer menu. Also loved all the TVs - great place to catch a game! This place is definitely on our east Memphis radar now!“
“Pete & Sam’s is a Memphis classic for southern Italian-American cooking. Hear me out; they have easily one of the best cheeseburgers and Gorgonzola wedge salads in the city. I know people aren’t coming here for the burger, but it’s worth a try! It’s charbroiled, well seasoned, with tender beef. The employees are awesome and although the restaurant is usually slammed they’ll get you in in no time.“
“The food is so good I had to fight my wife my son three bears an ogre and the Rock for the last garlic knot. I'm not gonna talk about the riot over the last pizza bone. Let's just say someone left missing a digit or two.. I suggest you get the pesto chicken and “
“My boyfriend and I have eaten here a lot and are NEVER disappointed. All of the food is made to order and there's something on the menu for everyone. Everything is really clean. Sam is great and always friendly. Also make sure to pick up a quick sweet treat from the front of the store! His wife makes them and they're so good. Do not pass up this place on Main Street. You won't find the food quality and portions anywhere else downtown for better prices than at Sam's.“
“We had the pleasure of having a great Dinner, we were Lucky to be served by Maddie, wonderful young Lady, so nice, so friendly, so helpful, the Restaurant has an Asset in Maddie, Food was excellent, great Atmosphere, thank you for a nice and pleasant Evening!“
