“Met some family here for dinner. Ordered the calamari for a shared appetizer. It was great with the butter dipping sauce. Orders were placed after everyone arrived. Steaks were cooked to perfection medium and medium rare. Medallion steak was delicious with the roasted peppers. You have to try the crispy brussel sprouts as a side. Our waiter Jimmy kept our drinks filled. Service was excellent. Great dinning experience. Dinning area was well kept, music was not loud and you could carry on a conversation easily.“

“My wife and I just had dinner at Chop House. We ordered the chicken pizza florentine as an appetizer. It was very flavorful and simply delicious. Our entrees were the lamb chops and ribeye steak. Lamb chops had a little too much fat but were delicious. The ribeye was cooked a perfect medium and very tasty. The highlight of our evening was our server/bartender Devin. He was very attentive to our needs without being bothersome or annoying. We both noticed how he provided great service for everyone at the bar on a very busy Friday dinner. Kudos to Devin for being very polite, kind, friendly, and gracious. He deserved the tip we gave him $$! Overall we had a great date night and will most certainly sit at the bar again especially if Devin is working. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because there is always room for improvement.“

Highly recommended! If the smokiness of the wings is too strong for you, I’d say try the catfish for sure or a bbq sandwich. They have a friendly helpful staff. The service is fast so if you’re in a hurry, no problem… even when they’re really busy.“

The food was great, and honestly, one of the best burgers (Uncle Dave) I've had in Murfreesboro. The place wasn't busy, but service was slow. We had to ask the bar a couple times for items our server didn't bring, along with refills. It was also crazy to see a $.50 charge x2 for mayo on our bill. It's a burger, and mayo is a basic burger condiment. It wasnt a fried egg, avocado, or extra bacon...it's a small dallop of mayo. Overall the food was great, but the experience was lacking.“

I had old fashioned, forget the name of the bourbon but It is really good. Highly recommend since they have the whole list of different whisky and bourbon, another checklist for my date. For entre we shared 2 lamp steak, it big and juice, cook perfect as our reference, we also share a devil eggs, which is good but nothing wow, another dish is salmon pasta is delicious. We have sides go with 2 entree so we tooo full to get sweet deserts, definitely will go back to try again. The price is reasonable for night out, with food and drinks, the quality of Downtown Nashville but the price of Murfreesboro and convenience. Definitely recommend and will be back for trying other dishes they have.“

Four of us got our meal right away, the 11 of us had to wait 1 hour for their meal to be served. 1 didn't get her meal until after the 11 finished eating and she opted to get her meal to go as to not make the rest of us wait for her to eat. “I found this gem of a restaurant via a Reddit thread discussing the best food in Murfreesboro.I brought my daddy here for a late lunch/early dinner today and we were beyond pleased with our decision to try Jeff’s out!I love the feel of the place— very tidy and clean, very homey. They have beautiful family photos in the space and cute decor that all communicate that this is a family establishment, which I love. There is power in the dollar and I believe fully that where you choose to spend your money says something about you. Why go to a chain restaurant when you can support a family-owned, local business like Jeff’s?We were greeted heartily by the kind people working in the front of house. This is my favorite cut of beef and I’ve had it at numerous high end restaurants all over the southeast. This by far is the best I’ve ever had! She said she would have a manager come to the table, and the manager was a no-show either. Eventually, the server brought the manager over. To say that no one appeared to know what was going on at any particular point in time would be rather generous. Different stories, servers that clearly need training, or a less busy shift, and the ising on the cake? The one girl, I have no idea what her function is, who kept yelling into her headset, grumpily deriding coworkers, and stuck with a permanent dour expression.I will not lie to you. The chicken strips and the tater tots were pretty damned good. Even the fried avocado bites were pretty decent. I am hard-pressed to say it was even close enough to overcome what can only be described as one of the most miserable dining experiences I have had in a very long time.Will I go back? Despite this location being literally 5 minutes from my house, probably not. I may go to one of your other locations to see if I have a better experience. I also stated that, due to the quick response and nice email, I would give them another try. Toot's has become a regular place to eat for me. Since the initial experience, all of my servers have been fantastic, no matter if I am at a table, sitting in the bar area, or sitting at the bar.
