We visited because it was on our must do Nashville list. Traffic was very congested to get there mid-morning. The biscuit seemed to be made from a laminated dough, resulting in a crispy layered pastry. We ordered biscuits and gravy. The sausage gravy was not spicy; the way we prefer it. I also tried the cheese grits; they were bland. The service was very efficient.Parking: We parked on a dead-end street.
The flavor of the fried chicken was SO YUMMY!!! It’s my favorite chicken and waffles I’ve ever had. Just the right amount of spice. Only thing that could be improved would be the crispy-ness of either the chicken or the waffle. The chicken had sauce on it so I get why it wasn’t super crispy but paired with the soft bubble waffle that would’ve been good. I really enjoyed this place and would definitely come back for this dish
