“This was our first time going some super fancy. The atmosphere was absolutely breathtaking and the skyline view of Nashville! The service was fantastic and our server was so helpful with helping us decide what to get!! Lastly the food was HEAVENLY, will definitely go back again“
“It was our first time here at Etc. This restaurant was a 10/10. Excellent customer service with staff. It was a pleasure to meet Ed Sullivan, who is the assistant manager. He was there to see if we had any needs throughout our dinner. The restaurant truly cares about the customers at their wonderful establishment. Very great experience. We will most definitely come back.“
“We had a large group, so I was a bit worried about how that would play out. But, everyone that we interacted with, from creating the reservation to the food to the follow-up, provided us with top service! The interior is stunning, and you're always picking out something interesting and historical. So glad I took our group here.“
“Skylar provided exceptional service on both of our visits this week! Seafood tower was outstanding and excellent value and selection. Music, as always, is super with three different acts most nights. It was a little chilly as we learned from a server that the heat was broken. Nevertheless, We love EV's and definitely recommend it!“
“My friend took me to Urban Grub today and I highly recommend it.Sorry for the less than normal review. We were chatting too much for me to give you a deep analysis of the service or atmosphere. We haven't seen each other in a bit and had a lot to catch up on, but:Our oysters were amazingly fresh, and they have a few options to choose from. They come with excellent accompaniments, too.The crab beignets weren't exactly as we'd hoped, but they were alright. They were really wet in the middle, and with the name we were expecting more dough. I brought a few home and actually think they might be better reheated to dry them out just a little bit. The flavor was good.We shared the dry aged burger, med-rare, and it was absolutely delicious. That was definitely the highlight of the meal!I'm glad we split it (and after hearing we were splitting it, they brought it to the table on two plates cut in half!) because I would be more ridiculously full then I am now.If you get the chance to go, do it!“
“We tried Henrietta Red today, based on a recommendation from Southern Living magazine. Everything we had was delicious. I had the roasted oysters with tomato chili sauce, gulf shrimp, and my husband had the sourdough French Toast. It was all delicious! Highly recommend!!!“
“I may have had the best meal of my 55-year life! I had the scallops (off-menu special) and my husband had the pork chops. What an amazing explosion of flavors in both dishes! Lobster bisque was subtle (not too salty) and rich - so good! And the service was off the charts fantastic! Props to Max and Andrew! Delicious wines and great live music, which wasn't too loud. We could still talk easily. The only cons were the Brussels sprouts, which are brought out as a complementary extra, but they were just steamed and lightly seasoned. I like Brussels sprouts, but these were simply not great (like why bother?). And the seating was not super comfortable. Bench seat was hard - per my husband - and my chair was really low and the table had a large pedestal bottom, so between those two and my long legs, I had to sit sideways. But it won't stop us from coming back. The restaurant itself is beautiful! Excellent meal and lovely evening!“
“Enjoyed an incredible dining experience and graduation celebration for our daughter! My steak was perfection and IMO beat out ones I’ve had in NYC’s top steakhouses! All our dishes were beyond delicious, and the service was impeccable with a Southern flair we enjoyed! Kudos to the entire staff!“
“Sperry’s never disappoints! My husband & I enjoyed our first wedding anniversary here, but it wasn’t our first trip. The steaks were absolutely perfect, the shrimp bisque soup was the best soup I’ve ever had, we always enjoy the salad bar, & the desserts were to die for per usual! We’ll absolutely be going back.“
“From the door man to the end of the show was simply amazing. Great food, great vibes, and entertainment. The chef deserves a raise cause the lamb chops, and filet mignon was top tier! Worth the money and my husband and I will definitely be coming back!!“
“⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ This place deserves every bit of praise you see on these reviews. Crazy amounts of crab for the price extremely well seasoned and sweeter crab than any place I've been to in Nashville. Very conveniently served as well in a Togo container in case you don't finish. You would easily be paying 150$ more at any other restaurant. Happily left in a food coma. The owner and staff are extremely friendly too, makes you feel at home. Love this place and it's going to become a staple.“
“I'm still speechless. . .I don't even know how to describe some of the dishes we ate. Every single thing was surprising in some way, and subtly sublime.I'm the sort of person who can usually go home and recreate a dish after eating it once or twice. Not here. I have no clue how they got the depth of flavor into those dishes. Quite possibly the beat restaurant in Nashville.“
“Absolutely, hands down, the best fish and chips I have ever had. Everything is obviously made from scratch (even the tartar sauce). My wife loved it and she isn’t even much of a fish person. Put this place on your list of restaurants to try!“
“Absolutely loved my meal and the service at The Gumbo Bros on Saturday. The bartender made me a jalapeño cucumber margarita even though it wasn’t on the menu. It was perfectly crafted. (I think her name was Alexis?- so sorry!)I got the small seafood gumbo and the surf and turf po boy with potato salad as my side. It was all perfection: flavorful, served quickly, big portions. I really wanted to try to beignets but was way too full. Thanks to your entire staff- you all really deliver!“
“Absolutely AMAZING! The food here was flavorful. I had the fried alligator bites and fried oysters and they were phenomenal. I can't rave about just how perfectly cooked everything was and how perfectly flavored it was. 10/10 I will definitely be back here soon!“
“YES, YES, YES!! This gorgeous lady serves completely outstanding fresh, delicious, homemade seafood meals. The LOBSTER ROLL is absolutely out of this universe!! We also had lobster Alfredo and lobster bisque...all were phenomenal. PLEASE SUPPORT THIS INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS LOCAL BUSINESS.❤️“
“5 ***** our best dining experience in Nashville in many years! We went here on our 40th anniversary for the first time and it was amazing. We got there early and Sara served us at the downstairs bar. We then found the upstairs “Le Loo” Parisian lounge and Brianne & Ryan took great care of us - both bars serve food and they have excellent oysters and small plates. Brian was our waiter and was also excellent. Cat is the manager for the entire facility and she stopped by three times to make sure our evening was going well. The food was excellent. We started with The Opportunist and then both the Mahi (excellent…wife said it was the best she’d ever had). The staff was as good as it gets throughout the restaurant. Everyone was personable and delightful to interact with.“
“A HUGE thank you to Star, a hostess at the front that assisted us in getting a reservation. We had a very long day of travel and were eager to get a nice meal. Star helped us get a table and a time that worked for us, got us seated and acclimated when we arrived, and was super accommodating and nice to my kid. Food is great, the decor and ambience is exceptional. Bar service might have been a big sluggish but the quality cocktails made it worth the wait. Thank you again to Star- our Nashville travels are complete and her attention/service sticks out as the best experience we had service wise throughout the week!“
“Fabulous!! Waitress was tremendous, good balance of being available yet letting us talk and enjoy each other's company. Food was outstanding. Had perfectly seared and prepared scallops. Atmosphere was very elegant but comfortable.Marsh House is attached to the Thompson Nashville by Hyatt, great property and great location in the Gulch. We will definitely be back when we visit Nashville.“
“Love the vibe- open and airy but booths are cozy and quieter- even though theyre in the middle of tge action. Excellent martini! Good wine selection. Staff is sharp, attentive, attractive. Fish was delicious- slightly overcooked but still top notch. Loved it.“
“Our server Chloe was OUTSTANDING!!! She was so kind and quick with her service as we needed to be out of there pretty quick. She knew everything about the menu and recommended the lobster ravioli which was an incredible. Food also came out super fast and delicious! 5 star service from Chloe get this girl a raise!!!!“
“Our experience at Char as we celebrated 2 birthdays with 12 women was beyond exceptional. None of us had ever dined here before and we were treated royally. The food was all delicious and the service outstanding. And they even had birthday cards for the 2 birthday girls. A+++ to Char staff and chefs.“
“This is a cool friendly place! The food was so fresh and delicious!! Ozzy the cook was amazing and knew exactly what he was doing. We met the owner Frank and he was so nice and welcoming. Our server was sweet and overall this place is awesome. Go check them out. And the cocktails were delicious too. I had the beef quesadilla and the husband had the beef and bean burrito. We also had the chip sampler and the chorizo gravy biscuit which is also great!“
“Oh how we've missed this place. Our Murfreesboro location closed but we were regulars before they shut down. The family and I (6 of us total) ate here for under $50 the service was incredible. Kids meals for 12 & under were $5.95 with great variety of options. We were sat right away and within minutes the fixins came and then the drinks and then the food. The manager Ashley kept things running smoothly she made sure everyone was pleased and happy with their food. We will definitely be going back soon. Thanks Uncle Buds!“
“Husband and I did bar dining on a Sunday with 815 reservations, great staff to patron ratio and we never were waiting on anything or felt like we were being ignored. Complementary valet with the hotel is included, I could see how if it were a busier evening or you did the prefixe dinner how you can go over that time and possibly end up paying, but we did not have an issue. Mushroom soup to start with was absolutely delicious and beautiful presentation. Husband had tile fish entrée and I had pork medallions which were both definitely tasty, but both a little over salted and the spice rub on the outside of the pork was a little over powering, but still a tasty flavor. Very delicious whiskey sour and Manhattan cocktails. No dress code is enforced but everyone seemed to have business casual/cocktail attire on, but there was only about eight other people in the restaurant. Saw several people around us getting oysters and caviar, so definitely would go here if that is your thing“
“Food was delicious but service was not great. Waiter was friendly and helpful but salad came while we were still eating our appetizers and no-one cleared plates until we asked. They seemed more interested in setting tables than serving customers. Overpriced for what it was“
“Visiting from Atlanta! Not my first time here in Tennessee but I’ve heard about this place a few times so I stopped by today. I only got a piece of catfish but man! It was cooked perfectly and seasoned so well. Not under seasoned or over seasoned, just perfect! All the employees I encountered were also friendly! I recommend this place!“
“We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Joe Muer's. Everyone we came in contact with was personable and accommodating. We ordered the Raw Bar Plateau for two and it was superb! My entree was the scallops and it was divine - a very generous portion, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. My husband had the Airline Chicken, also delicious! I had to try the tomato cobbler out of curiosity, and while it was so good, I almost had too much food. Next time I will skip the side and save room for the coconut cake. I can't forget to mention how wonderful Hileen was! 10/10 would recommend Joe Muer's when you want to treat yourself.“
“What a sweet find, Flora was the real MVP. I felt at home the moment I walked in. Trying to have a chill but saucy night with my babe. Couldn’t have chosen a better place for a date night. Every food ingredient is super fresh and appreciated. Keep on keepin on. Maybe a gringo but love what you’re doing “
“This place is amazing! We got the Alaskan snow crab boil with both steamed shrimp and fried shrimp. The boil came with the standard potatoes, corn on the cob, sausages and boiled eggs, but it also had broccoli, which was a solid addition with the garlic butter. We chose the basic garlic butter sauce and it’s the best I’ve ever had, the perfect mix of butter, garlic and lemon (I even dipped my fries in it). The food was perfectly cooked. The crab legs were flavored very well and not soggy in the least. The shrimp were huge and had a perfectly light and flavorful batter. Everything was very fresh. Homemade tartar sauce that was far and away better than anything that can be bought. And that butter sauce! At first glance, the prices seem high. But you get so much food, it’s a good deal. We split the Alaskan crab/shrimp boil and fried shrimp platter, four people. We couldn’t even eat it all. And this is good, fresh, quality food. This will definitely be our go-to seafood place from now on.The service was spot on. We didn’t have to wait long for the food and the guys who run it were very friendly and helpful. And the music in the restaurant will take you back and make you dance while you’re eating. We had a great time and experience.“
“Was looking for a deal on Uber Eats, found this place with a BOGO deal for their birria tacos w/consommé (Birria Special). I tend to be skeptical of tacos out here, as I'm a Los Angeles native, but the deal was so good that I took a chance and they did not disappoint. Both the tacos and the consommé were absolutely bangin'. I'm so happy I got two orders of it. Now I'm convinced, I'm even willing to pay full price next time. 10/10 would recommend“
“On our first visit to this charming restaurant the roast beef po-boy was one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten especially with the flavorful, tender homemade roast beef, finely sliced lettuce, beautiful Bâtard and the mayo. Man what a sandwich. The gumbo on the other hand had way too much salt. On another visit the roast beef po-boy was a mediocre sandwich for $20 a go. Here is the hoping the roast beef po-boys will always be good in the future. It’s a nice place and please don’t forget to support all our Nashville owned independent restaurants and businesses.“
“A must have New England style pub and tavern style restaurant in East Nashville. My husband and I are always impressed with the service and quality of dishes they have on their menu. In particular their New England clam chowder is quite possible one of the best I’ve EVER had. So thick and creamy and great paired with their crab cakes. The fish and chips sampler is a fav my husband as it gives a wonderful sampling of different styles of fish filets and the fries are just right. The drink menu is ALWAYS fierce and keep a solid seasonal rotation on their cocktail menu. The ghost pepper infused margarita is impeccably made! The Irish brownie is so decadent and has me thinking about it a lot since trying it! Atmosphere is cozy and intimate and it’s cool that the have a little patio for when the weather warms up too. It’s one of our personal favorite places to eat here in Nashville. 10/10!!!“
“Went tonight with some friends because we wanted a ladies' night somewhere interesting, and it did not disappoint! We ordered an obscene amount of food and ended up taking a ton home. Everything was really good, the service was wonderful, and we all tried something new! A wonderful place to go if you're looking for a fun and delicious dinner!“
“What a great way to end a weeknight. This was my first time visiting Stoney River a d it was for a .medical rep dinner. The Hosts, as you walk in, were very kind and helpful. The atmosphere of the restaurant was relaxing and beautiful in design. The servers were kind and helpful in suggestions. They were also respectful in doing their job during the time we were listening to the speaker. The food was great. I am not a steak person, so I would normally have ordered the salmon, but the waitress suggested the Filet Mignon. It was a great choice. Tender and flavorful! I will definitely come back.“
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I'm only upset that I've just recently found out about this wonderful establishment! I've been twice in one week already so I'm very convinced that this is by far the best soul food establishment we have in Nashville. Hands down... I got the chicken & dressing with mashed potatoes and green beans the first time, then came back later in the week and got hot lemon pepper fried chicken wings with macaroni and cheese and greens. Both plates were excellent and now I have my new favorite spot for home cooking! Just when I thought we didn't have anymore good meat & 3 restaurants.“
“Absolutely wonderful! I took my husband out for dinner to celebrate his milestone 40th birthday as part of our Nashville trip, and let me tell you, it was a smashing success! The food was exquisite, the ambiance was enchanting, but the highlight of the evening was Zach! He served as our waiter, and he truly deserves a 5-star rating! Zach went above and beyond, ensuring that we were well taken care of throughout the meal. We engaged in delightful conversation, and his recommendations were spot-on! I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking impeccable service, delectable cuisine, and, without a doubt, the most divine chocolate lava cake! Thank you, Zach, for making our evening truly unforgettable!“
“If I could give 11 stars I would, OMG! THE BEST PAD THAI I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! We thought the name was so cute, but when we left we were two smiling elephants. On the negative side, if you happen to sit the far left and the back corner next to the wall and window, there's no insulation in all your food will get cold really fast. I even asked the waitress if everybody that sits here first orders, hot tea, and a hot soup The soup is OK I just got cold really fast so I couldn't finish it but thatPad Thai Oh my goodness still dreaming about it. The place was packed, a line out the door . Who would've thunk it I'd have the best pad Thai I've ever had in my life in Nashville Tennessee.“
“I frequent J. Alexander's (both locations) I'm ALWAYS satisfied with their food! Last night I visited the White Bridge Rd location 50 minutes before closing time. I was greeted and served by one of the sweetest servers (Maurice) He provided AMAZING service!“
“The food was truly amazing! From the outside, it doesn't look much like a restaurant, but once you get inside it's not bad. They happened to be out of the fish I ordered, but I'm really glad they didn't. The fish the server recommended was so much better! They have a mastery of seasoning that is second to none. The flavors were not overpowering while still being bold.Overall, I was blown away by the flavor and quality of the food for the reasonable prices!“
“The food was amazing the Mammoth burger and the big game burger were soo good. I cannot wait to come back and try everything else on the menu. Our server was phenomenal, if I'm right his name is Calvin. Moved here from Buffalo and have been looking for real food for awhile, if you want REAL food with REAL quality this is your spot. I can't wait to bring my whole family during this holiday season when they visit. Thanks for a great experience!“
“Took my brother here for his birthday. They emphasized the quality of the fish, and it was even mentioned online. Living part of the year in Hawaii I’m typically skeptical of those claims for landlocked cities.However. We sampled 6 different rolls, and a selection of the ngiri and the poke bowl. Ever dish, the fish was firm, with a good bite and mouth feel. Everything was as fresh as they claimed. We were super impressed with the quality. Vibes a little confusing as far interior, but not distracting enough to count against them.Cocktail game is good. A few custom cocktails and a list of classics, everything we had was solid. No gimmicks or over sugared drinks. Manhattan, old fashioned, Tokyo flow were all great and the mojito is actually one of the better I’ve had in Nashville.Hope this place sticks around. *nods head affirmatively.“
“Having dined here a couple of times, I'm familiar with the menu. As usual parking is hard to come by unless you are early enough to snag the 4 spots in the front of the restaurant or drive around to the back and get in through the kitchen door. The lunch menu is not as remarkable as the dinner one but the buffet option definitely a great value at $13.95.The Saag was exceptionally good the day we went. and there was quite a number of chicken options. The goat curry was mainly sauce and a few scattered meat. You can never go wrong with their biriyani. The Naan is a definite must pick. My fellow diners concurred that their food is quite tasty.Nevertheless, I wish the food was hotter. By the time we sat down it eat it was lukewarm. I would urge the restaurant manager to have a talk with the kitchen staff and servers about hygiene. Though some of us may have strong stomachs its no fun to spot hair in your plate of food.Parking: Parking is limited. So be prepared to find street parking“
“Going in you know you're gonna drop a dime, but that aside it is a fine dining experience. Tomahawk Tuesday is a great deal you get a choice of salad, entree, 2 sides and a dessert for two people. I got the Caesar Salad very good , my entree was the NY Strip well done (I did that because they said that they tend to undercook it, however medium well would've been perfect) the sides we chose was the chipotle mac n cheese and the Fleming's potatoes both of which were delicious. This was a ton of food so we had the dessert to go and I ate it the next day. It was NY cheesecake with a strawberry sauce so so good . The ambiance was quiet and clean, love how the view is a McDonald's sign . Service was extremely slow though the one drawback. I am not blaming the waiter here, he was on point, think it was the kitchen. Oh yeah and the old fashioned sucked. Otherwise great experience, will return.“
“The Carrabas at the Nashville location was perfect example of what good & quality Italian food is. It’s has a good family and intimate experience. The ambiance is perfect for an amazing, fulfilling, tasty meal. The food was good and so is the presentation! But service, is what it makes the experience for my family and me! The service was beyond AMAZING, super attentive, quick and efficient. The whole staff will make sure your experience is an amazing one but Jeff, goes above and beyond! For sure, if you are having a sit down dinner; definitely request Jeff. He is simply the best. This gentleman will make you feel like you are the only guest in the restaurant. He is super attentive, fun, and simply the very best server in the place.“
“Awesome food! We WILL be back - to try everything. The owners and staff were wonderful and friendly. Cooked fresh to order. Husband had the wings and fries with the Honey Heat and it was delicious and not hot but lots of good flavor. I had the shrimp and grits. Some of the best we have had.“
“Came for the experience, stayed for Amanda! Food was meh but Amanda’s jokes were top tier. We came on the cusp of a winter snow (it actually started snowing as we walked in) so there weren’t many patrons and only 2 servers. An older couple walked in after us and started to sit at at at a table vs the bar: “you’re old enough to sit at the bar and I’m fat and don’t feel like walking so don’t sit there “ Amanda called from the end of the bar ?. I’d go back for the experience.Parking: There’s paid street parking in addition to paid garages and paid open uncovered lots within walking distance“
“I have worked in our with restaurants over 30 years, I see what works and what doesn’t. Gael and Claudia where a dynamic duo! They took amazing care of our extra large party. We traveled from Atlanta with 29 HS girls lacrosse players plus coaches and parents. We were tired, wet, cold, and hungry after our game. Gael was awesome! Dinner could not have been any better or easier.“
“10/10! I was craving catfish & found this gem! This was my first time eating at Bones. I called in my order over the phone, the lady that took my order was patient & friendly! I got the catfish plate, double spaghetti, & the fruit tea! (Lol, I’ve never had fruit tea before but it was GOOD!!) I should’ve gotten a large. Food was a GREAT amount for the price. I will DEFINITELY be a loyal customer.“
“A trip back to the golden age of nightclubs. A real prohibition/film noir vibe. Top flight warm and friendly service from bar and waiting staff. Bar manager Rhys is right across the whole operation. Also really knowledgeable about the cultural history of the venue - which has been rocking it since 1948. Incredible music from sax player / Nat King Cole voiced Derek Williams, plus singers Laura Mayo and Dianne Sherrill fronting a superb jazz combo led by a highly charismatic pianist. The burlesque show is end to end class with elegance and humour balanced perfectly by co producers Jonny Gowow (musical director) and Tessa Mendoza (hostess / lead dancer). Food also of equally high standard. The prime rib is a near religious experience!“
