“As an Architect and a commercial kitchen designer this place is not supposed to be successful.The linear design of the tight kitchen and tight table and seating layout is a no no for restaurant concepts, but Big Ed's is so much more than that.I have never been to this place without it being crowded ❤️ my whole family loves it and has looked forward to our Big Ed's trips for 10 years now.The place is a gem and an Oak Ridge treasure. “After a 7 year break decided to order a Papa Murphy pizza. Ordered using the app. The pie was ready when I arrived at the shop. Beautiful presentation of fresh ingredients. After less than 15 minutes in the oven the pizza was done. Tasty sauce. Topped the way I ordered it. Generous portions. Only problem: it was the crust. No rise. No flavor. The reason it took 7 years to order this pizza. Too bad. Unless they improve the dough (regardless the greatness of the topping) I guess it will be another 7 years before I order another one.As you can tell, much pie left over. Made some toast. Scraped the toppings off the crust and loaded them on the toast. Warmed them in the microwave. Delicious!!! The birds and squirrels loved the old crust.“
“We came across a gentleman selling hummus at the farmers market in downtown Knoxville. My wife said "Really? The world's BEST hummus?" and he said "Yes, the world's best!" Oh My Gosh! It really is the best hummus that we've ever had. We got the 16oz spicy hummus and it was gone by that evening. You absolutely must try this hummus. Amazingly Good!“
“This is probably the most consistent pizza place in town. The food's always good, the order is always correct, and the customer service is always on point. It is on the pricier side, but they have lots of coupons on their website, and you can use multiples!“
“I called into the store and spoke with a gentleman who was kinda rude. However needing to order for a group of people I proceeded to order online since he stated he couldn't take my order and use a online coupon. (A coupon on their website and he couldn't use it). Anyways I order and it was a fair price for the food. My delivery came about 15 minutes later, and the pizza was HOT!!!!!! It was also fresh. Mt driver was wonderful, unlike the person I spoke with over the phone. Highly recommend ordering delivery online....“
“We picked up from Little Caesar's in Oak Ridge for an after Thanksgiving family gathering. The pizza was ready on time, the order was accurate, and it was delicious and so reasonable! Especially recommend the thin crust and custom order. We got a custom supreme so that each half would be perfect. Will order from them again.“
“We went to Andy’s Pizza in Oak Ridge Saturday Feb. 24th. It was busy with take out orders, but the owner was so nice. We met another couple there for dinner. Their food is homemade. We ordered pizza and our friends ordered the calzone and lasagna. The pizza was very good with delicious crust, sauce and fresh toppings. The calzone was fresh made and the lasagna was too.We had a very good experience. The place is small but quaint.Most of their business is carry out, but definitely worth the trip we made from Maryville.“
