“First time diners that stumbled upon this marina grill. It's a bit of a walk from parking lot to restaurant. Nice variety of menu items. Had the fried pickles as an appetizer and they were good. Our entrees were shrimp tacos and a BLT. Both were good. The atmosphere is marina casual and the water views are wonderful. Our server Nikki was personable and quite good at her job. It was a fun experience but probably more suited for boaters that are already on the property.”
“After our recent move to Baxter, we had noticed this coffee spot on HWY 70 a number of times, and finally today we decided to head over and give it a try. So glad we did, the coffee is delicious, the service was great, the owners were incredibly friendly and personable! Love it.”
“Variety of sandwiches, sides, baked potatoes and salad. I had a baked potato with baked beans on it; my husband had his with the brisket. Both were yummy. They also have ice cream if you have any room left; the potatoes are large. We will be back.”
“The farm was so clean and beautiful. We are from Illinois and have never been to a farm this nice. The staff is really educational and helpful. 10/10 its 100% worth coming here”

“I didn't order any food or anything. We just went to hang out and play a few games of pool and shoot a some darts. It's free to play pool and darts which is awesome. I like their signs and stuff they have hanging everywhere. The bathroom stalls are very small and kinda hard to move around in.”
“Traveling thru town to visit friends. No frills, great breakfast food. I had breakfast bacon, egg and cheese biscuit and was excellent . Will stop again when in town ”
“Very good food and service. We'll be back!Update: since discovering our two young daughters have Celiac's disease, they are always so kind and help us ensure they do not get or order items with gluten. Also, accommodated with spices, etc. It's our families favorite place to eat in town! ”
“This is our go to when we’re out on the lake. The food is delicious, the staff is super friendly, the food comes out super fast. We’ve never had a bad experience! I wish they had a location in cookeville so we could eat here more often, it’s better than el tap!”
“I'm from SoCal, so I am pretty picky about my Mexican/Asian cuisine. This place is the bomb. Super authentic, super delicious, very nice ladies working here. Need more places like this in the area!”
“We had lots of questions about the area and the waitress took her time to tell us all about the area. The food was fantastic and made to order as well. I'll be in a food coma for a while.Kid-friendliness: My kids really loved our waitress and she was very good at interacting with them. They felt comfortable enough to order their own food like big kids.”
“My wife and I finally stopped in after passing by many, many times. We are so glad we did! The Kilo y Tres Quesos Burger and House Chips were so freakin good! We will definitely be back!”
“What an amazing place. Eclectic venue with beer, food and even hemp! Also, it was a huge nursery with loads of really cool topiary. I also picked up a brochure and apparently they have a comedy night. I’m definitely going to be frequently in this place. Also got some draft beer to take home. It was absolutely delicious from Calfkiller brewery.”
“Heading to a funeral of a close family member, we stopped by to honor our loss of family member by ordering her favorite Starbucks Drink. Sarah M. Was wonderful to work with helping us honor her by assisting in how to order our drinks. Just awesome. Thank you Sarah M. This is a hard time.”

“The best thing going in Smithville TN! Amazing food, incredible service, and a fabulous atmosphere! Summers out back are the best! Karaoke, line dancing, Bingo, Trivia, and free concerts! They even have a menu for your fur babies!”
“We were on a trip from Houston and coming back from a hike on twin falls. This place popped up and omg we are so happy it did. The food was amazing & best of all their horchata. Service was fast and amazing, always checking in on us. Absolutely loved it, and again the food was amazing. If we are ever back in TN and near here definitely will be going back.”
“I thought the food was fresh and very good. As far as charging different for paying with cash vs credit card. Most restaurants do this. Maybe not your local diner, but it's been that way the past couple of years. It's not some trick, js. I will definitely go back. It's a nice change for Smithville besides diners, buffets and fast food.”
“GPS will mislead you but be persistent: this joint is a can't miss hole-in-the-wall Mexican place. Drive around the car wash, and you'll find yourself in the right place; walk through the grocery and find yourself a seat. Prepare for greatness. The chips were served warm and the salsa cold. They serve beer! A great way to wash down your meal. The hubs said his chili verde was among the best he's ever had (worth finishing with a Tums). It definitely tasted like it was made from scratch. I loved the shrimp chipotle. So many shrimp! So much fiery spice! The perfectly seasoned rice, sour cream and guac cooled things down (and the beer helped). Oh, that guacamole? Spring for the appetizer of it--chunky with just the right amount of onions--so good. It wasn't the best part (because the food was so good) but the check was mighty nice. I felt bad paying so little for this meal.”
“If you haven't tried this place yet, youre missing out. It's delicious, inexpensive, and man do they feed you. I got the largest bbq sandwich they offer and it was PACKED with tender flavorful pull pork. I also got the spicy pickle fries. I didn't get the spiciness to it but they were crispy and so good, especially dipped in ranch. My meal altogether with a drink was $12 and 100% worth it . Bring your appetite! So excited to find this place. I cant wait to try their brisket! They have a bunch of options from burgers and hot dogs to bbq.”
“A truly lovely experience! The isn't anything I could say I didn't enjoy from this business. It is VERY nondescript exterior, which hides a gem of a business. The food is fresh, vibrant but familiar. The decor is inviting but nostalgic. A great place to frequent and show off to friends!”
“Marisha Webb has taken over Hiillcrest Restaurant from her dad and has created Flour Child Bakery. The menu has fresh milled grains and pastries. My husband and I each tried a Kolache for the first time, which is homemade soft bread wrapped around meat & cheese. Wonderful! !! She also has other homemade foods such as lasagna & soups. Then, we splurged and ordered homemade Cherry Cobbler and homemade Vanilla Ice Cream!!! Delicious isn’t even a word that does it justice!!!! Finding homemade foods has truly gone out of style, so it’s so nice to find someone dedicated to how things USE to be! ”
“Fast service and top notch food! Everything we have tried is wonderful and crazy fast how quickly it comes out after ordering. Horchata was very good too! I would recommend the pastor tacos and the carnitas sopes! Does not disappoint.”
“Parking: Just a gravel parking lot. No lines. People take up more than one space.Kid-friendliness: I see a lot of families with children here.Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp.”
“This is one of my favorite little lunch spots in town!! Food is always delicious and the women working in here always greet you with a warm smile!! And the desserts! Don’t forget a dessert when you go!! You will not be disappointed.”
“Not only are the drinks amazingly delicious, but nutritious as well. I have even been replacing a meal with a slprotwin shake as much as possible with my fasting and the weight has been coming off so much easier.Oh. .. and get the brownie ball bites. Your welcome! ?”
“FINALLY a boast for fantastic food, service & prices! We went to Twin Lakes Catfish Farm for lunch today. To start off with Melissa was fantastic! She has a great personality & took care of us.. we lacked for nothing. We put our lunch orders in at the same time we ordered our appetizer & they weren’t brought out at a reasonable time after we got our appetizer, not with it. It shows she knows how to make sure her customers are able to enjoy the appetizers first. For the appetizers they are one for $7.00 or two for $12.50.We ordered the fried mozzarella sticks. It’s made with real mozzarella cheese battered and fried to a golden brown and served with marinara sauce. These were delicious. The cheese pull was amazing! Lol lots of cheese in them. I wish the marinara sauce was a little thicker, but that just my preference. This one was still good. All of the entrées come with two side items, and your choice of bread.I ordered the two piece catfish with white beans, and tater wedges. I chose hush puppies as my bread and a side of deviled eggs. $7.95 (I’m not sure if they charged us extra for the deviled eggs or not.)Approximately a quarter pound of fillets fried to a golden brown. Even though it was just two pieces those catfish were a large portion and they were season excellently. I’m extremely picky about hush puppies and these were hands-down one of the best that I have tried! The white beans were delicious and I loved the deviled eggs.My friend Charity Cruz ordered the hamburger steak. It’s a 12 oz. ground beef steak grilled and juicy $12.95 she chose the steamed vegetables, fried okra, and hush puppies as her sides. You can add grilled onions, mushrooms, or cheese $ 1.00 each. This hamburger steak was just as thick as it was round, and it was seasoned perfectly! I tried the fried okra. She loved it but I’m not really an okra fan, but it was ok. She said the steam vegetables were very good. Everything was seasoned perfectly. It had fantastic flavor. We went home with a to go box because there were so much food given.Unfortunately, we were not able to try any dessert.. because we were so stuffed from lunch! We will definitely be back to try something different or maybe the same items we tried today lolThank you Melissa.. you were fantastic!”
“I love this place. It’s the best Mexican food in the area. I’ve stopped in for dinner every weekend since moving to Smithville a couple months ago. The food is really authentic, not priced super high, and they don’t just smother everything in sauce like most local Mexican places do.Also the service is great. The owner, waitress, and chef are all super accommodating and friendly. Definitely worth the trip!”
“Road trip heading to Nashville Tennessee searched for a restaurant with good ratings and was not disappointed! Local spot with home cooked food. I had an omelette with homemade biscuits and gravy excellent! You’re lucky if you can come here often but if we take another road trip we will definitely stop again!??”
