The bathroom was fresh and clean. Easy order options by phone, by text, and in person. Last but not least, the food was amazing. I got hot lemon pepper, and baby they did not disappoint. Think of a Hooters style glazed drumstick or wing with a tangy multi-layered flavor profile that doesn't make your fingers turn orange and give away to your coworkers, wife, commanding officer, or Lord Almighty that you lunch at Hooters. Smyrna does not have a Hooters. Forget Hooters eat here. Minus one star because frankly the pickled radish is too good. It kind of makes other restaurant's food in the vicinity look boorish and brings down the whole block's aesthetic..“
“We decided to stop in and try Helen’s for the first time and we are so glad we did. We had the catfish combo, chicken tender combo, gizzards and spicy fried pickles. The breading on everything as great! The flavor was great. The gizzards and chicken tenders were mild and just right. (We couldn’t watit to dig into the tenders before taking a photo.) The catfish we ordered plain and the seasoning is anything, but plain. The breading isn’t thick and overwhelming. The spicy pickles are a must! We also had their okra and fries as side and these were cooked well. We also tried the fruit tea which was a bit sweet, but goes very well with the spice. We’ll definitely be back!“
“We were literally in town for the evening. Our plan was to stay in Nashville and then travel to Smyrna in the morning. However after. Horrible experience at our original hotel we ditched that plan and grabbed a hotel in Smyrna last night and went out. We ended at the Smyrna Sports Bar and had a great time. Krysta was awesome and took great care of us. We didn’t get to try the food but everything else including the karaoke was fun“
“This is a nice place to eat. I didn't take any photos of the food but I guarantee you won't be disappointed. I am an rib eater. I've eaten ribs all over the world to find the best. For the price, these are not bad. They didn't fall off the bone, but they were not tough either. I actually liked them, but wouldn't say they're the best. The service was fine for being a Saturday and very busy. I would eat here again.“
“The food was hot and fresh. It was prepared the way that I like it with ample toppings. I ordered the thin crust super supreme and Cinnabon mini cinnamon rolls. The cinnamon rolls were great also. I only thing I would say is that the staff needs to work on their customer service skills and be more friendly. They should smile and be enthusiastic to assist all customers. I have been to this location alot and the energy is always the same.“
