I recently grabbed lunch at Steak n Shake and went for their garlic double steakburger combo. It was a good choice for a classic fast-food burger.The double patties were cooked well and delivered a satisfying meaty taste. The cheese offered a nice creamy counterpoint. The star of the show was the garlic. First time at a steak and shake and it didn’t disappoint! The place was EXTREMELY clean - especially for a fast food restaurant! I had western bbq burger and my wife had a garlic steak burger. Both were tasty but the garlic one was exceptional. For “fast food” we would totally go there again!

Stopped in for a bite and the food was fresh and hot. The restaurant could have used some cleaning as it was not very busy and there many dirty tables. But the staff were nice and the service was good.
