“Stopped in for lunch on our way home traveling through and just made it as the local church crowd started to arrive. Place became full which is a good sign. There were plenty of servers and we were met with a friendly young lady that took care of us. We enjoyed the fried pickles appetizer. I always try to get something unique while traveling and trying new places so I went for the smoked brisket grilled cheese and fries. My word...it was good. Brisket was perfect. Tender, perfect smoke, and a generous portion of meat. Fries were top 5 best I've had. Loved the cut and batter on the fry. Really good. My husband got the country fried steak, potatoes, and okra. Sadly it wasn't as good. Okra frozen style not fresh or cornmeal battered. Potatoes were just standard. Steak was a nice big portion but seemed frozen not house made. Which is pretty normal, but fresh would have been amazing.Atmosphere was ok. Little cramped. Was very close to the folks eating around us, but that's ok. They all knew each other in this small town.Restroom was teeny, but ok.I would definitely go back again if ever traveling through.”

“The food is always good but 9 out of 10 times, if you sit at the bar, the service is SLOW. It's like the staff forgets you are there. Ended up having to go to the register.....wait...wait some more...before our waitress/bartender came around to cash us out.”

“My husband and I came here for dinner and it was great.We got the prime rib, beef brisket, Mac n cheese, potato salad, sweet potato fries, and turnip greens. Best potato salad l've had in a while. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the staff were so sweet. Definitely recommend.”

“HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location out of all the ones including Maryville this is by far the BEST ONE EVER!! We do recommend Breakfast over lunch. Amy does FANTASTIC JOB at running that shift in mornings!!! Also wanna say be kind good help is extremely hard to find & you never know what someone maybe going thur to just hold it together. That means a lot to me in this day in time no one hardly says that anymore & it makes me feel very happy when I hear other business doing the same ?This subway is locally owned & operated go do yourself a favor go eat at this location you won't be disappointed. Also KINDNESS GOES ALONG WAY sometimes we need to put ourselves into the workers shoes & realize that they do put up with rudeness & attitudes or they maybe trying to hold it together that day. “This place is soooo good. Love the employees and atmosphere. We tried the pickle pizza, thunderbird BBQ and steak and cheese Bigfoot wedge. Everything was soooo delicous. Definitely some of the best pizza I have had. The wedge was amazing!!! Definitely reccomend giving this place a try. They have so many different pizza options. We will be coming back to try some other pizzas for sure!”

“I haven't had ice cream this good for a very long time. Rocky's has a variety of unusual flavors alongside the favorites like cookies&cream and rocky road. There is the option of scooped ice cream, or soft serve with different flavor elements mixed in. They make their own waffle cones in house, and you will be ruined for the cones elsewhere. The banana pudding ice cream is a great Southern addition and great paired with a scoop of chocolate. Pecan Praline was outstanding, because their pecans are large enough that you can bite into each one and taste the caramel coating.We tried the hot dogs along with our ice cream, and they were perfectly fine, but didn't hold a candle to the ice cream.There are tables inside and outside to eat at. I was told that on summer evenings, the line is very long, and I believe I can say it's for good reason!”

“We recently visited a local diner as a group of 13 individuals, including children, while waiting for an excursion to a nearby cave. Our waitress efficiently seated us upon learning of our limited time window, and assisted us in ordering for the entire group. The pizza exceeded our expectations, and the wings were highly praised as some of the best we have had in our travels. The staff's friendliness and attentiveness were exceptional, leaving a lasting impression on our group. We look forward to the possibility of returning to this area in the future.”

“We were stuck way in the back portion of the restaurant which didn't have any atmosphere the front part did look nice, like your typical Mexican restaurant. Nice window views. I had enchiladas which is my go to when I try a new place. It wasn't the best I've had but then again it wasn't the worse either. Nothing special about the salsa but the chips were good. Service was a little slow, maybe because we were so far back.”

“This is now Kelly’s cafe, but the main sign has not been changed yet. There are 2 ways to order: either you go through the cafeteria line which has 3 meats, several sides, fruit/salads, rolls/corn bread and dessert options or you order off of the menu. My son ordered off the menu, and the rest of us went through the line. My daughter felt that the pork chops were dry. I liked it. The meatloaf was very good. It was quick. My son had his food from the menu by the time I sat down to eat with my food from the buffet line. The desserts were all great. The corn bread was a bit dry, but the rolls were perfect. It was a really different experience. We were well taken care of. If I wasn’t from out of state I would return.”

“The wife and I are new to the area and decided to go out for some Mexican food. I've got to say this is hands down the best restaurant food we've had in a while. We ordered an agua de tamarindo and an agua de horchata to drink. Wife and I split a Huarache de carne asada and each had 1 sope also carne asada. We also had esquites on the side to share. We left the place stuffed and happy. Eat here! I promise you'll love it!”

The two young ladies that were working behind the counter were absolutely as nice as they could be. One girl nicely and excitedly explained all of their ice cream flavors.
