“Good burgers, good shakes. Reasonable prices, especially if you have the IBuyAbilene app. Trinity was super helpful, made sure she explained all of their options thoroughly. Overall a good experience, will definitely be back!Edit to add: the business card with information about the app was a great touch!“
“My first time here. The massive sweet tea in a mason jar was so good. I ordered a blue cheese bacon burger and it was delicious with its homemade bun and huge beef patty. Service was excellent. I wish I had room for their ice cream everyone was eating. I’m going back.“
“I love the truffle fries. Lots of truffle oil, Parmesan, and parsley and even their regular fries, there is just something about them. So good.the kids had the chicken nuggets and the kids burger. The nuggets were similar to Chick fil a in a way. But cut up fresh there.“
“Small but mighty. The staff was great. It was so busy, and even when there were some young men being goof nuts, the staff treated them well. My friend and I loved the food. She had a bacon cheese burger, and I had the gyro. Her burger was huge, and my gyro had so much lamb meat in it that neither one of us could eat our fries. She wasn't fond of the fries, but I liked them. Can't wait to go back.“
“Wow!! as a gen-z i’m very skeptical of places that aren’t chain but had a family member encourage me to check this place out. food was PHENOMENAL- got two large burgers with everything on it, sides of okra and onion rings, drinks, AND a shake for under $20. while the hours aren’t ideal and no credit cards aren’t ideal- this is the kind of place you’ll want to carry cash for. very well priced and when you go, you’ll get a good feel for abilene! definitely will be recommending to people as an abilene must!“
“My husband wasn't so happy with other burger places, he's never had Rick & Carolyn's Burgers, one day I had to introduce him to their menu and I promised that they had the best burger, he's hard to please when it comes to his burger, now all I can say he only eat from Rick & Carolyn's, thank you guys, now I feel our money is well worth it, Great Place to get combos, at a reasonable price.“
“Love this place... my partner and I went for lunch during our busy work day. We were somewhere early for once... got there at 11a. He got a double meat and cheese and added bacon with a large fry. I had a large burger (single meat and cheese) with bacon and a large Chilli cheese fry ?.. it was a lot of food. All of it was cooked when I ordered fresh and the bacon was cooked perfectly! None of that stringy or scorched cr*p. Nice and crispy and so flavorful. Now I know that eating in ur vehicle might not sound so tempting but we're always on the go so we do it a lot. Think I might have seen a picnic table out there but plz don't quote me...Oh n the best part about the whole thing... all of that food was $21... you read that correctly $21!!!!Kid-friendliness: Sitting in a car to eat is only for the braver parents. However, The help is pretty young so I assume they would be great with the kiddos... They are very respectful. The owner of this establishment is doing a fine job.“
“Came in with my family for burgers. We all got the green chili cheese burgers with various accouterments according to our own tastes. With four similar but different burgers ordered it was understandable that mine was slightly wrong. When I asked for the missing bits to add to my burger, the staff made me a whole new one up to spec and brought it out to our table. This being my second visit to Blue Sky (I've also eaten at the one in Midland) I was not disappointed. The green chili cheeseburger from here is likely the best burger I've ever had. The only possible thing I could fault is the food being served in a basket with a paper liner that almost immediately dissolves creating quite a mess while eating and adding the trouble of trying to remove small bits of wet mushy paper from ones meal rather than just eating it as well. The Styrofoam to go containers, while arguably less environmentally friendly are much more conducive to the juicy nature of said meal. Get it to go and eat it on site win win!“
“Breakfast is always on point! The service was great. Wife's pecan pancakes were a little undercooked, and they were very quick to fix the problem. Got her new cakes out, and 2 people came by to check and make sure the new order was to her satisfaction. Always good food and service. We will be back for sure.“
“A very conveniently located club in the heart of South Abilene. They feature a good compliment of local artists performing on a regular basis, the layout is open and comfortable with a separate area dedicated for the floor section in front of the stage. An upstairs area offers killer views of the stage and a comfortable setting to enjoy whatever event is taking place. Staff is generally friendly and the overall atmosphere is great. I look forward to having my eardrums blown out on a regular basis here.“
“Four stars because I feel the food is overpriced. Bottomless sides are nice and the burgers are good, but in excess of $15 is a little crazy. Thats said, I usually sit at the bar and the service is great. Mikaela especially does an excellent job. She's clearly a smart gal and quickly learns her customers. Always on top of things. Happily tip her 20% or more. Thanks yall.“
“So, I stopped in here for lunch and struck gold! It wasn't too busy, so I grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered. The bartender, Liz, was amazingly fun! I also had an unexpected great time chatting with two older gentlemen who were having lunch at the bar as well.Unfortunately, I didn't get many pictures.“
“Mr.Burger is really good. It’s a basic burger. Nothing exciting about it but you get a very good burger for their prices. I’ve been about 5 times and have only had one experience that wasn’t good. Our burgers this time were put together a little bad. The fried pickles were also very greasy this time. They forgot our fries to but got them out quick. Overall I love Mr.Burger and still will go. Flavor is there for everything. If you are looking for a basic burger that hits the spot, this is the place to go.“
“It was cold out and not very busy this afternoon. The service was ok. Bartender was telling me she does not like Margaritas or some of the food we ordered. Don't really care what she likes unless I ask. My wife did enjoy the burger, and the appetizer was ok. Just house margarita so as expected.“
“Updating my review and changing from 3 stars to 5 stars to reflect more recent exp. Great flavors as always. I got the grilled shrimp and chicken breast within the last 2 weeks, and they were delicious. Cannot beat the price on lunch specials and even dinner prices are very reasonable. I see the value considering how expensive everything else has gotten. I think the sweet tea here is the best.“
“If you want good food and great family oriented atmosphere look no further always an open table no wait eat indoors or outside and at night becomes an adult oasis with a live band and new events all the time to fit your taste it is a icon of abilene and the only popular place to be definitely an establishment that will for ever be in our memories. No discrimination just a good time with your friends and family #street pub. You will not be disappointed in my opinion better than Potosi Live!“
“My experience with this restaurant has been superb. The food was very well prepared, beautifully presented, and our server, Brooke, was the most delightful person, we wanted to take her home with us. She was attentive, but didn't hover, had a wonderful sense of humor, and really made us feel the love. We had a long table in the back of the restaurant where the sound level didn't interfer with our conversation, and the ambiance of the game trophies is fun, upbeat and upscale. Our evening could not have been more enjoyable, so I'm eager to return. Bird“
“We are only briefly passing through Abilene on a road trip. I had a Hollywood Canteen with extra bacon and Sausage. Great breakfast!! Extremely welcoming service, very accommodating and great food. Plus as new customers we got a free chocolate brownie.“
“If you ace a no-frills burger, you deserve every good thing that comes your way. I live 3.5 hours away from Abilene and was literally passing through just to transport a dog to their new home and then drive back to DFW. I needed fuel for the long trek back and thought this place looked pretty good. I am now trying to see if it would be crazy to make the drive again literally just for this burger. The place was packed at lunch time on a Saturday. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and spicy fries. I waited 30 minutes and started to get kind of annoyed it was taking so long but I take EVERY BAD THOUGHT back as soon as I tasted the food. The burger was delicious. Everything tasted so fresh and it didn't leave me feeling gross and greasy like burgers tend to do. The "spicy" in the fries just means they're seasoned to the max with peppers. They also were extremely fresh, perfectly crisp, and I left no crumbs while I took my time enjoying them. If you live nearby and haven't been here, you are doing yourself a disservice.“
