Farolitos is our very favorite Mexican food place in Abilene. The people are super friendly, and the service is great. I love the Mexican plate but exchange beef for a cheese enchilada because I love the cheese and onion. The hot sauce is fantastic! We have eaten here for over 30 years and always love it. We have never ordered anything we didn't like. They have had a hard time getting enough kitchen staff lately, so you have to call to see if and when they will be open at night....read full review
Hidden gem.. great service and delicious food .. try Mark's tacos... cold beer and best salsa and chipsDietary restrictions: They willing to modify menu options to siut your needs...

Ignore anyone complaining about the decor. It is AWESOME! It would be tragic if they ever updated the inside. It’s so special, so real and so rare, full of beautiful vintage Mexican art from the 1930s through the 1970s. And the food is the best Mexican food you will probably find within 200 mile radius.
