“Wow!! as a gen-z i’m very skeptical of places that aren’t chain but had a family member encourage me to check this place out. food was PHENOMENAL- got two large burgers with everything on it, sides of okra and onion rings, drinks, AND a shake for under $20. while the hours aren’t ideal and no credit cards aren’t ideal- this is the kind of place you’ll want to carry cash for. very well priced and when you go, you’ll get a good feel for abilene! definitely will be recommending to people as an abilene must!“
“Came in with my family for burgers. We all got the green chili cheese burgers with various accouterments according to our own tastes. With four similar but different burgers ordered it was understandable that mine was slightly wrong. When I asked for the missing bits to add to my burger, the staff made me a whole new one up to spec and brought it out to our table. This being my second visit to Blue Sky (I've also eaten at the one in Midland) I was not disappointed. The green chili cheeseburger from here is likely the best burger I've ever had. The only possible thing I could fault is the food being served in a basket with a paper liner that almost immediately dissolves creating quite a mess while eating and adding the trouble of trying to remove small bits of wet mushy paper from ones meal rather than just eating it as well. The Styrofoam to go containers, while arguably less environmentally friendly are much more conducive to the juicy nature of said meal. Get it to go and eat it on site win win!“
“While the place isn't in the best area the food was good. The issues I had were the lid not fitting on the to-go plates. The excuse the manager gave was that they changed packaging. He went through 3 lids before he came to that conclusion. Another staff member tried two others. Serving orders in plates without lids is asking for trouble. Spills and messes are inevitable at that rate. Other than that the price for what you get is decent. Tea and ice are delicious. Caffeinated drinks are available too. If you don't like mega sweet tea get half and half. Ample parking. Handicap accessible. I would definitely visit again.“
“Went there after a very long day at work because I didn't feel like cooking. Used a coupon and ordered our food. The woman at the window was so nice. “Pretty sure this isn't a chain resturant? Driving thru the area and needed a quick cheap dinner and found this hole in the wall! Place was clean, and the food was really good. Expecting it to be a little cheaper (but guess Bidenomics has messed that up?) but all in all, we thought it was a very good place to eat, and would/will be back for round 2 when back in the area.“

“A real Reuben has thin, crispy, hot rye bread. That is too much to expect for fast food, so my sandwich was quite tasty, and I thoroughly enjoyed it anyway. “I went to try the Jalapeño Ranch Chicken Wrap. I was surprised when I saw it because it was basically Chicken Salad with Jalapeño flavor. I expected fresh, sliced chicken with maybe chopped fresh or canned jalapeños .The Jalapeño flavor was bold from the very first bite. The flavor was great and there was plenty of it. They put crispy Jalapeño bits in there and I added bacon to mine. It all paired well with the fresh tomato and thinly sliced onions, so this instantly became a favorite for me. Also, the tortilla is a nice contrast to the thicker bread on the sandwich.I took off a star because of the price. I’m not complaining, to be clear, I do not mind paying good money for good food, and this is certainly good. However, when you look at the overall price to product ratio, for almost 19.00 your getting a wrap with drink and chips. If the wrap was oversized, ok Lots more chicken would maybe substantiate the price. In fairness, I added bacon which drove up the price a little.Overall, I’ll definitely be back for this meal.
