“Came to eat catfish and was a little disappointed in the wait but we understood the rush. Kayla made our experience going above and beyond to accommodate our wait. She made the experience amazing......until next time Kayla.... we'll ask for ya.“
“HANDS DOWN BEST RESTAURANT IN TOWN! Beehive is always a class act! Nobody out does them. I dont care if you go to Perinis, Copper Creek, or Lytle... Heck I dont care if you go to Montana, Beehive has the BEST steaks, flavors, staff, long islands, and service! Excellent chefs. Great for a date night! Real roses on the tables,, nicely decorated,, and clean. To me, their consistency really sets them apart. Weve traveled the country and often find ourselves comparaing the steaks to, and missing, Beehive. The food is truly WORTH the price. The management is A++. Owned by a veteran. Staff is always professional. Happily correct anything youre unhappy with without hesitation. Been here to eat probably a hundred times and never had a bad experience. The ribeye and beef oscar are fantastic. They also have prime rib and lamb certain times of the month. Highly recommend the (giant) 6 layer chocolate cake for dessert! Great weekly specials too (but be warned, they tend to run out if you come late). Full bar. Long islands are huge and fair priced. Drinks are consistent. No obnoxious people, no loud music, no idiotic singing (eh hem, roadhouse).... just a pleasant atmosphere. Not too uppity and fancy, just respectable. No need to get overly dressed to eat here. Oh, and be advised they dont take reservations.“
“First time eating here and we enjoyed it! The bread rolls were hot and delicious. We ordered the appetizer platter which was just okay. The rest of our food was good. The pink sauce was tasty. Everything was hot and cooked well. Portions were big which was nice for the teen boys in our party.Service was mostly good but drink refills were lacking.Overall we were happy with our experience and will be back.“
“Good food nice place it's a little pretentious for my taste as far as far as atmosphere goes. I went on my lunch from work, they brought food out fast and I made it back to work on time. No real complaints, its just not the kind of place I like to eat at often. It's more of a special occasion place to me.“
“Golden Chopsticks is one of the most popular Chinese buffets in Abilene. Our family and neighbors enjoy going here to get some quick bites to eat once in a while. The Food: It is generally fresh when it comes to the buffet. There are times when the food would be a little lack luster but, generally a hit. They are usually on top of getting food cooked on time to replenish in the dining area. The Staff: The front staff are incredibly kind and remember their customers when they come in. The wait staff are simply doing their jobs - however, they pick up on your needs very quickly. The Atmosphere: It is usually pretty quiet even though there are TVs running. There are plenty of booths to sit to give a sense of privacy while you eat.“
“Stopped by on our way to Austin. We shared the Seafood platter- crab cake- blackened catfish and 3 jumbo shrimp. We also ordered a small order of onion rings which were the BOMB. Food was really good and Heather took great care of us. Would definitely return.“
“Food was straight bussin. Love the atmosphere. Not loud and I could actually hear my girlfriend talk. The waitress was kind .We didn’t know the restaurant closed at 9 and they didn’t tell us anything when we left at 9:30! That was nice, I think they even threw more shrimp on the grill for my girl and it was close to 9. Thank you Red Lobster.“
“This place really caught my wife and I off guard in a good way. We're Louisiana natives and most places that try to do classic Louisiana dishes don't do it justice. This place delivered. My wife got the shrimp and grits and absolutely loved it. I got a basic fish and shrimp plate and it was seasoned well. Would definitely go back if we're in the area again.“
