“The decor is deceptive.. the place feels like a diner and isn't decorated with many warm elements. The music selection is an odd Latin/South American dance mix and though it matches the decor, it's a bit of a contrast with the food and the service.The food, first, was absolutely amazing. The hummus was so good and made with high quality ingredients and olive oil. One of the people in our party ate it directly out of the bowl with a spoon. The restaurant serves a lentil soup that had a really pleasing exotic blend of flavors, enhanced with sourness from either lemon or tomato. One of our party got a lamb tower and the meat was so tender and juicy.. It was definitely marinated at least overnight. I had a gyro.. the gyro was passable, but I'll be ordering a tower the next time I go back. The seasoned fries were amazing! We had a vegan in our party who really enjoyed the lentil soup and grilled vegetables. We didn't try the falafel, but they have it there.For dessert, we tried the cream puffs and baklava. The cream puffs had a pleasant mouth feel and were made of a light dough. When you bit down on them, they'd suddenly make a satisfying pop, releasing a cream that wasn't too sweet and had a taste reminiscent of ice cream. The baklava wasn't a typical filo dough pastry. It was a horseshoe shaped, rolled up, light and flaky pastry filled with minced pistachio in the center. I'd recommend both.The service was great! Our waitress was warm and friendly and her personality was super authentic! Did a great job of explaining dishes to us. Attentive and engaging without being overbearing. She genuinely seemed to like what she was doing and really enhanced the experience.Not necessarily the best setting for a formal dinner, but a great place to go get some really tasty Mediterranean food in a relaxed setting.Vegetarian options: Falafel, salads, grilled vegetablesKid-friendliness: Unpretentious atmosphere.. music is a bit loud, so kids won't disrupt the atmosphere.”

“I LOVE going to Snooze anytime I am near one. Food is always great. Staff is always so friendly and helpful, and of course, great bar selections. This is a great place if you are like me and need a place that can adapt the food menu to accommodate your food allergies. They also have great vegetarian option. This trip, we tried the PROTEIN & VEGGIE EGG WHITE SCRAMBLE. I had the chicken sausage, and my hubby had his scrambled with Soy Chorizo. This was so delicious and loved the aparagus being a veggie option for this dish. The house salsa that comes with this was the right amount of spicy with a hunt of sweetness. If you have e never tried their Bacon But Different, make sure to add on a side of that to your order. Your taste buds will thank you later. If you love blackberries, then you should definitely have a Boozy Blackberry Mint Limeade with your breakfast. Overall breakfast here is a 10 out 10.Vegetarian options: They have tofu and soy Chorizo and meat options and several vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: The online menu gives you the option to select your allergens and, based on that, offers you the menu items that can be tailored to your allergies.”

“When I walked in, I was immediately met with a quiet stillness, which was amazing considering the loud music coming from the neighboring restaurants. I was lucky to come during a slower time, and was greeted like an old friend. The atmosphere reminded me of childhood, of family, of home. And the food is just the cherry on top. Delicious, made-to-order eats off of a stovetop grill, with prices being so low it's almost criminal, considering how amazing it all tasted. Everyone was so wonderfully attentive, but not hovering, and you can really tell that everyone who works there cares about the people they serve. What an absolutely delightful experience, and I heavily encourage you to go whenever you're needing a nice, old-fashioned diner.”

I feel like this place is so under rated, but in truth a staple of the Addison/Dallas area! Alot of history, extremely consistent, amazing quality ingredients and dishes. The staff is fantastic. I live right down the street and don't come here nearly as much as I should. It's actually not out of price range at ALL for the quality and portions you are getting. I hadn't been in a while up until recently and Alejandro always makes my visit that much more special and enjoyable every time! I love this place. You will not be disappointed.My favorites are the mussels, lump crab salad, lobster (DUH), they make an awesome steak if you're into surf & turf. Save room for Crème Brule ;)”

“Chicago deep dish was very good. It's hard to find here in Texas but this was real close to what you get in the windy city. Service was phenomenal. I wish they had a better bar or wine selection. And the Google map link says it's part sports bar but none of the TV's were working. All in all food and service are most important and that was excellent.”

It was an amazing amount of food.My favorites were the lobster tails, and the sausage... But that's not to say that everything that arrived at our table wasn't absolutely top notch. The seasoning and spice level was perfect in my opinion.The staff was very attentive with checking on us and refilling our drinks. The atmosphere was pretty chill. The bathrooms were clean. “This place is excellent! I've been wanting to dine in during my many visits to Dallas. The food was delicious. It was a lot of food! We ordered the parilla mixta family combo, it was huge and came with everything. The plate says that is enough for 4 to 5, but honestly, I think even 7 people could eat from it. It's a lot of food, which makes it a great value. I got plenty leftovers and I'm happy with it. A downside is that the service was a bit disorganized however, all the employees were very nice and attentive. The ambiance was great too, good for families. Overall it was a great experience and everyone in my party had a good time.Just to clarify, this establishment has 2 restaurants in one. Sabor Llanero and Palmas de Brazil. I don't know how that works, but we came for the Sabor Llanero menu, which was excellent.I must say the Venezuelan food at this place is very authentic. If you are not from venezuela, you might not be as pleased. I would recommend you to do research and ask enough questions before ordering. This is not your typical American menu and is not made for all palates. I'm from the Venezuelan region where this type of menu is from, and food is the closest I've tasted in my 10years of living in US, excellent job!I would recommend this place 100% can't wait to come visit again!”

“We’ve been to Brentwood’s a few times in the past and enjoyed it. Though It’s always been pricey for what you get in my opinion. Decided to try it again last weekend. When we arrived, we were told they ‘lost’ our reservation, even after I showed the confirmation on my phone. They said we should try to find a seat at the bar and could have dinner there. We had a 95 year old with us and bar stools are a challenge for her but we made the most of it. Dinner was ok, not great. Service was pretty bad. 95 y/o ordered a glass of wine, which apparently they were out of and they subbed a much more expensive wine without telling us. (We found out when the bill came). No apology, just “yea, we’re out of that wine so we gave you a different wine”. We had to ask numerous times for them to take our food order and to get the check. We felt pretty ignored. To be fair, they were a bit busy but not slammed. Poor attitude from the bartenders didn’t help. Won’t be going back.”

Food tried has included the Veggie Omelet, California Benedict (could use a bit more crumbled bacon), Bagel & Lox, Cinnamon Roll French Toast, & Turkey Avocado Wrap. All delicious! Pancakes & waffles come with drizzled cream cheese icing. Wasn't sure about this, but was So good! Servings are very generous. Definitely going back again!”

“I was looking for a place to celebrate my birthday with my family, and this popped up in my search. The reviews convinced me, and my own experience is why I'm adding to the positive reviews. My kids and I are gluten-free, so they were so excited to find a kids menu that had lots of options for even them, such as Mac n Cheese! We are not used to getting dessert either, so that was a huge treat for us since all the desserts are gluten-free. The chocolate pudding was wonderful and plenty for us to share. Everything was fresh and tasty. My husband is glad we don't live close enough to come here every day, or we'd be broke, haha. It's definitely a place we will regularly visit when in Dallas. The place (even the bathrooms) were clean and the gal waiting on tables there was so friendly and pleasant. “Boy, do I have a REVIEW. I just stumbled across this place on Yelp because I was looking for a quick lunch around my office. I went to the location and IMMEDIATELY, the smell outside is delicious, warm, sweet and inviting. and ordered a sandwich combo that comes with a half sandwich, soup or salad and housemade chips. I brought it back to my office and when I tell y'all... I had an out of body experience as I was eating this combo. I got the turkey and cheese hot sandwich and tomato basil soup. Say what you want about a simple turkey and cheese sandwich... but La Spiga somehow made it a delicacy. The sourdough bread that I got it on was some of the best bread I've ever had. All the ingredients were so fresh and complimented each other seamlessly like the Dallas Symphony during their Summer Music Series. And the SOUP? The perfect dipping soup for my sandwich AND on its own. This tomato basil soup blows every notable competitor I've ever tried in the past out of the WATER. The housemade chips were also fresh and lovely but I spent most of my time on the sandwich and soup. La Spiga Bakery will now be a regular spot for me. Looking forward to taking my friends here and frequenting it for work lunch getaways. “Went here with some out of town friends. A solid find and a solid option for ramen. My wife and I got the umami duck. The broth was flavorful and the noodles (we got the egg noodles) were chewy. We added extra noodles and were able to split the bowl. Spacious restaurant with friendly service. Their menu is quite extensive and the reviews are positive. I would be interested in coming back to try their tonkotsu ramen and their appetizers + other entrees”

“I ordered two crispy beef tacos, a party tostada and a fountain drink. It took a while to place my order, since there wasn't anyone working the front counter. The person working the drive thru was also responsible for the front counter. The drive thru took precedence. I waited for about 5 minutes. Once I ordered, the cashier forgot to add my tostada to the meal. She had to charge me separately for it, once I realized that it was missing on my pickup tray. The employees were all friendly but a bit understaffed. The food was fresh, but the tostada was a bit colder than I would have liked. There was a self-serve condiment bar with Pico de Gallo, cilantro, chopped white onions, red salsa, and jalapenos. I noticed that there was a Dallas Cowboys souvenir cup on the counter. As I was leaving, I inquired about the cup to see how I could get one. I was told that you had to order a medium-sized fountain drink. Since I had ordered a small drink, I didn't get one. They were nice enough to hand me a cup anyway, as I was leaving. The place was very clean, bright, and pretty empty at the time. I went at 4 p.m. so it wasn't a typical time to be ordering food. “I work at Morsco HVAC supply in Carrolton. My manager buys 4 dozen breakfast Tacos about every other week on Fridays for the staff and customers. On this particular day the restaurant was having issues with their computer systems due to the recent storms. They had no way to process or view any transactions. The manager of the restaurant gave us 4 dozen breakfast tacos and simply trusted that we had already paid for them. Chris is the manager here and told us the story. He said he would 100% head back and verify that we were square with the restaurant.Taco Cabana saved our Friday breakfast promotion. They are the kind of business you want to support.Also the Tacos were pretty freaking good.”

This place gets a 5 across the board for the refugees from Stadium Cafe that still need a "third place" . The beans are devious, flavorful, and Truly vegetarian; the owner makes sure to mention that there is no animal fat every time I order. He really cares about the food he puts out, he is proud to serve what he serves, and it shows. His food is heartfelt. I don't even live in the area anymore; I live an hour away, but circumstances provide that I am in the area every once in a while and when it's lunchtime, as long as I don't wait too long and he is still open, it's no question where my lunch is going to be.”

I’m so glad I followed my own mind and made the reservations!!!! Everyone was so impressed with the food, staff, and service. The music selection is an odd Latin/South American dance mix and though it matches the decor, it's a bit of a contrast with the food and the service.The food, first, was absolutely amazing. The hummus was so good and made with high quality ingredients and olive oil. One of the people in our party ate it directly out of the bowl with a spoon. The restaurant serves a lentil soup that had a really pleasing exotic blend of flavors, enhanced with sourness from either lemon or tomato. One of our party got a lamb tower and the meat was so tender and juicy.. It was definitely marinated at least overnight. I had a gyro.. the gyro was passable, but I'll be ordering a tower the next time I go back. The seasoned fries were amazing! We had a vegan in our party who really enjoyed the lentil soup and grilled vegetables. We didn't try the falafel, but they have it there.For dessert, we tried the cream puffs and baklava. The cream puffs had a pleasant mouth feel and were made of a light dough. When you bit down on them, they'd suddenly make a satisfying pop, releasing a cream that wasn't too sweet and had a taste reminiscent of ice cream. The baklava wasn't a typical filo dough pastry. It was a horseshoe shaped, rolled up, light and flaky pastry filled with minced pistachio in the center. I'd recommend both.The service was great! Our waitress was warm and friendly and her personality was super authentic! Did a great job of explaining dishes to us. Attentive and engaging without being overbearing. We ordered the parilla mixta family combo, it was huge and came with everything. The plate says that is enough for 4 to 5, but honestly, I think even 7 people could eat from it. It's a lot of food, which makes it a great value. I got plenty leftovers and I'm happy with it. A downside is that the service was a bit disorganized however, all the employees were very nice and attentive. The ambiance was great too, good for families. Overall it was a great experience and everyone in my party had a good time.Just to clarify, this establishment has 2 restaurants in one. Sabor Llanero and Palmas de Brazil. I don't know how that works, but we came for the Sabor Llanero menu, which was excellent.I must say the Venezuelan food at this place is very authentic. If you are not from venezuela, you might not be as pleased. I would recommend you to do research and ask enough questions before ordering. This is not your typical American menu and is not made for all palates. If you have e never tried their Bacon But Different, make sure to add on a side of that to your order. Your taste buds will thank you later. “I love this place!!! I’ve been coming here for five years but now live nearby and I’m a regular! The bar staff is so awesome. Meghan, Jordy and Paxton usually serve us and even when it’s busy they are so awesome. Their food is also so good!! I haven’t had anything that I don’t like!!
