My husband and I used to go Cadavez twice a month. We came back recently and very disappointed with quality of food and service. The restaurant go down hill. They service tap water now. The food portion is smaller and smaller. I request crunch shell for my Al pastor taco but the taco shell is not crunchy at all and oily. Definitely will not come back.

This is not the place to go if you want authentic Mexican food. The service was very quick and good. Our server was polite and accommodating of food allergy concern and took away our empty dishes and refilled our drinks right away. The food was average to bland overall. The chicken was a little dry and bland and the carne asada passable. I did not like the queso, it tasted like it was American cheese-based but the salsa was pretty good. The birria eggrolls were good but obviously not made fresh as they could not be made without onion. The sides were also average. I assumed the papas would be rounds, not mashed. The atmosphere was loud, good for families but not a date night as the many TVs can be distracting.

We just left after only being seated. We were never acknowledged. There were only 3 tables with people….we made 4. We will not return. We had friends warn us the service was bad, it’s now confirmed.

Sad to see that the happy hour ends earlier. The service was slow enough that the shorter duration affected our evening. I've never worried about slow service because there was plenty of time. Now I'll be more insistent.

If you are looking for texmex food you might be at the right place, however if you are looking for what you would find in a "cocina mexicana" you might be a little disappointed.

Very disappointed. We came in, were seated quickly, and then were promptly ignored for 25 minutes. No drinks, no waiter, nothing. Menu looked great, but we were on a time crunch so had to leave. Great advertising for Braum's, I suppose. The kicker? They weren't even busy at all.
The one time I até there my debit card was hacked.

Service has not been quality. Atmosphere is not my preference as it is loud. This may not have to do with restaurant as it does to do with customers. They do have GREAT SPECIALS.

The food was amazing ?The service was also the best service I've ever had. Our waiter was respectful, he had remembered everything, and he was fast about getting everything we requested. 10/10 would most definitely recommend to others. I absolutely loved the experience and will most definitely go again
