We stumbled upon Crazy Larry's while driving through Texas and we're so glad we did. Larry and his with Jennifer were the friendliest, most welcoming people we met on our road trip. The would be enough, but the food was beyond good. The pulled pork and chipped beef were great but the ribs were the star of the show. No gristle, tender and flavorful even without sauce. (But the sauce is great too) Even our dog took a bite when he caught us not looking.Can't wait to be back in Amarillo to see Larry and Jennifer again!Parking: Plenty of spots, no worries at all

My experience has been you can't go wrong here. I pretty much always get the same thing, the ribs with potato salad. They've had bad experience with teenagers ordering water and using the glasses to get soda so now you can't get free water but it's only about $0.50 for a bottle of water, maybe a dollar now at most. The employees are always super friendly and helpful. There is a drive-thru window if you don't want to go in. I prefer to eat inside though. The ribs are fantastic, the potato salad is delicious, and I love that they have the apricot sauce because it tastes so good with the ribs. There is a condiment station where you can get extra barbecue sauce, onions and pickles, peppers, etc. I've never been disappointed with a meal I've gotten here. The only shame is they close at 3:00 so I don't always make it here by then.

Crazy Larry's BBQ need to come with a disclaimer. If you do not like beans then this place is not for you. If you like beans then you will love this place. The reason I say that is because to me (maybe others will disagree) but there is a strong bean flavor to most everything even the BBQ sauce. The first time I had it I was thrown off and not a fan but when you get the BBQ Frito pie it will make that dish shine. The Frito Pie is where this place shines and gets my 4 star rating from.

I got a 3 meat plate for me and my wife. With Brisket sausage and turkey. The brisket seems reheated . The sausage was not bad. The turkey was good. Potato salad and coleslaw were very good. The beans were good as well. No happy about the brisket, very disappointed. Did not care for the suace.
