Funky little liberal-feeling cafe with super friendly staff and the best croissants I've ever tasted! Great vegetarian quiche with fresh fruit (NOT the usual underripe honeydew and cantaloupe!), green salad, and roasted sweet potato salad. Cup of fried cottage potatoes. Delicious coffee and fresh, cold, clean ice water. All scarfed down too fast to take pix! Nice little patio to augment the inside dining. I'm If we lived in TX this would be a regular stop for us, for sure!Kid-friendliness: Cute kids eating here!
Watermelon tea, amazing. Breakfast burrito also, very good. Must try the jalapeño bacon.

This place is a hidden gem! Sits behind a gas station but don't let that fool you, they are throwing down some delicious fresh awesomeness. So much to try, the French toast was yummy, blueberry scone my wife loved, and the breakfast croissant sandwich was amazing. The counter help is friendly, so glad we found this spot when traveling through Amarillo, we had to hit it up every time we went through here.

Can’t recommend for call-in orders. Placed order at 10:30am (2 hours before I needed it). Didn’t realize there wasn’t a separate place to pick up call-in orders. That means I had to stand in line with everyone else for nearly 30 minutes just to tell someone I’m there to pick up an order that’s already been placed, and then to wait while they finished it. Not to mention it was a tiny portion for the price! They were telling others in line that they’d have to wait 45-60 minutes for their food. One table of 2 had been there an hour and hadn’t yet gotten their food and needed to return to work. I don’t understand what the hype is here. It seems very short staffed.

Amazing Gluten Free biscuits & gravy, and pancakes. The jalapeño bacon is on point! The whole family was delighted with the options and the tastes. If we are ever even close to this place again, we will make sure to eat here!Dietary restrictions: Best GF biscuits & gravy. Best GF pancakes.

Girasol is our favorite place to go in Amarillo! It is actually one of the reasons we moved to Amarillo! The food is AMAZING, with so many gluten-free and healthier options. My husband has celiac so there are very few places we feel actually take care of gluten right and this is one of them! We also love the atmosphere, the outdoor seating and the people who work there are great too.

The owner and her staff make this restaurant the best place I've been to in Amarillo. It's warm and friendly, and the quality and service are excellent. The food is amazing! Fresh, all homemade, unique, clean, and delicious. it's no wonder they've established a loyal following despite their discreet locale. Come hungry. Besides the food menu, the pastries are irresistible. you'll want one of everything, and some to go - at least, I did.
Great food. Service was horrible. Really crowded. Kind of pricey. The coffee was on point. Will definitely try again.

We came in and ordered food for three to-go, have waited over 30 mins. The group of men behind us had already gotten their food and finished eating and we have yet to see ours. Only reason we received our our food is because we had to bother them, turns out our food was just sitting there because they "forgot".Will not be coming back or recommending this place to anyone else.
