I have so many good things to say about this coffee shop! I was so impressed! We got the tumeric chai latte and a cappuccino. Usually cappuccinos are a standard drink but this one was exceptional! I got the single origin espresso and it was very fun! The tumeric latte was one of the best I’ve ever had. And the baristas were amazing! They were so friendly and kind and they truly just made the whole visit such a delight! 10 out of 10 experience!

The barista who prepared my drink was very nice, and inquired about my day. This stands out to me as where I come from it's not the norm for someone taking more order to ask such things and be genuine about it. When she learned of what I had planned she shared how I was in for a treat as it's a wonderful time of year for me to go there. I ordered a dirty chai latte which she prepared very competently. The chai blend itself is different from what I'm accustomed to. It was very enjoyable. It almost has an apple flavor in there somehow. Anyway, if you ever find yourself in Amarillo Texas, and you're jones'n for a cup o' Joe, stop by the Palace Coffee. You'll be glad you did.

I visit this coffee place often. Actually, all the locations in Amarillo, TX. Today one of the guys there approached me while I was on a zoom meeting and rudely interrupted. He stated that if I didn't buy anything then I could not use wifi, it was a policy. He sent a girl with a menu and she said I needed to order. I asked, I have came here since last year several times. I was just at the location on Georgia last night. I ordered a Chai. Never seen this policy anywhere. She then said it was not a policy it was just word of mouth. I try to support a local business but with a staff this rude, never again will I visit a Coffee Palace. If I need to upload all my purchases here I will. Starbucks will earn my business as they don't mind if you don't buy something right away and get to using the wifi.
Fantastic coffee shop. They have delicious coffee and the staff is so incredibly friendly. Made me feel right at home. 10/10 recommend if you're in the area.

Whenever we road trip, I look up local cafés in each town we overnight in, and pick one at random (if there’s more than one ?). I’m so glad I picked Palace in Amarillo! I can’t speak to their coffee roasts, because my go-to drink is an almond milk latte (which was 10/10 ⭐️), but the place smelled amazing, and that says a lot for me, because I can’t stand the smell of Starbucks coffee. Other than the fact that they’re easily accessible because they’re seemingly EVERYWHERE, Starbucks’ popularity baffles me, especially when there are places like Palace around.The service at Palace was great, and the pastry we got was delicious.

It is wonderful to find a place that operates in a way that aligns with your principles. Be kind. Encourage community relationships. But to find such a place that has great coffee and pastries is even better. If we were local we would have to try all locations and it would likely be our favorite hangout.
