Great fried rice. Nice looking place. An inspector I know says kitchen is spotless.

Huge selection. We were a fairly large group and the service was great. Didn't expect to find great sushi in Amarillo.

I have been here twice and both times the service was very good. First time they were extremely busy, yet they were attentive and food did not take a long time. Second time was empty and service was again really good, the waitress was very nice and food was outstanding. I had the lunch special where you get two rolls for 10 dlls which is a very attractive price.

Our first experience here was amazing! Our server Colton was very attentive and made sure had everything we needed. The sushi was perfect and the drinks were very good as well. Definitely gonna be going back there.

This place had a nice environment and a wide variety of sushi to choose from. We got the volcano, the texan, and a few others. All were delicious. Also enjoyed several appetizers and the choices there were pretty diverse as well. It was very busy though since it was Saturday night, so service was a little slow for drinks, etc. All in all I would still go again.

First of all our waiter (sorry! I forgot your name!) was AMAZING! He went above and beyond, answered our questions, knew the menu so well he directed us right to where we needed to go and was very attentive. The food was also so good! We had two kids with us that were also not disappointed! When I’m back in the area, I will definitely go back!

We went for Wednesday all day happy hour. Good food. Friendly staff!!They were short staffed so it took a long time to get food but they were quick with drinks and they made it a great atmosphere while we waited.

I went in with my wife and my baby. Asked for a table for 2 and a high chair. We were taken to the table, and the hostess went back to the hostess counter. After about 5 mins I asked a server if I could get a high chair and she went and got one, despite having a massive table of her own. I wish I had that server. Apparently there was 2 tables of 20 dining just after we got there, so only 2 servers were left for the rest of the restaurant. There was no speed of service. Ordered apps, seemed like they were taking forever, and finally a kitchen worker brought us our appetizers, which one was room temperature. The servers were way overwhelmed, the food was way under par, I asked for a manager and told her the food wasn't even warm by the time it got to me and it's fine but I just wanted some hot wontons. She said she'd discount the appetizers off the ticket. I just accepted it was too chaotic for anyone there to provide a normal dining experience. Meanwhile, the hostesses kept seating more and more guests. The spring rolls were actually fresh and really good and the Cajun roll I would recommend cause it was really good as well. The rest of the food was trash. And I felt bad for what the servers had to deal with, and they should've put people on a wait if the staff can't handle them.

Should have listened to the previous reviews. Too much rice and imitation crab mix, and not enough fresh fish in the rolls and dishes. Calamari were thick strips instead of crispy light rings, Takoyaki balls mostly rice and imitation crab mix (again). Not authentic Japanese cuisine and would not return. One star for the soft shell crab appetizer and friendly wait staff.

Been going to Rain for a while now. Being an Amarillo local and loving sushi doesn't seem to work out, but Rain always has great sushi. We usually take advantage of the great happy hour, this day we came on a Tuesday which they call "Texas Tuesday" and offer deals on Texas beer and Texas rolls. They were great, the beef was cooked well. Did not disappoint.

Some of the best sushi in town! Definitely a must try for anyone into sushi!
