“This place is hands down the best burgers in West Texas! They have great deals for oil field guys and even a bulk order of cheeseburgers for a lower price than a full meal for 2 at McDonald's. And if you're lucky they'll be stocked up on cheecake in a jar.”

“Ate here while passing through and the staff was excellent, extremely friendly and even let me try a sample because I was unsure. The food came quick, was hot, and was very good! additionally my server was dealing with a lot of tables and still maintained coming to check on me 3 times throughout my meal. Highly recommend will come back!”

“Definitely Andrews go-to for mexican food. I've been to El Portrillo, a handful of times each time has been great! Brunch is great, caldo de res was amazing & menudo! Bean and cheese burritos are my go-to for lunch! You walk in and take a seat wherever you like, great service. The drive-thru takes a little longer than the typical drive thru, but you can call ahead and place your order to-go!”

“Got here a little late and did not know. Staff still sat us and encouraged us to stay and enjoy. Well we did and it was amazing!! The food was amazing, the service, everything!!! Would highly recommend 10/10”

“Upon walking in the overall look of the place is run down, the AC was horrible, so I was hot during the meal. But the waitress and food made up for it. She mentioned that she was short staffed but still had an excellent attitude, very sweet and personable. The food was home cooked, it took a bit to come out but that's expected when you sit down to eat in small family owned restaurants. But again it was great and fresh, the green beans need butter but nonetheless a great choice for lunch.”

“Sylvia is the heart and soul of her restaurant. She is an amazing woman who really knows how to share her Durango Mexico slant on her cooking. When I stopped by for supper, she had two friends visiting, thank goodness, because Carla speaks perfect English and I speak no Spanish, so I had help reading the menu. The pork shoulder stew is excellent! I'm so happy that I found this gem!”

“What a DELIGHTFUL ""Hidden Gem" in this small west t town!! Amazingly delicious breakfast tacos(large & very filling).. we had the sausage, cheese,egg taco & the potato, egg& cheese taco...Check them out & support this small family businesses if u are ever in the area! Grab a cnow cone or scoop of Blue Bell For dessert!!They have outdoor seating as well (picnic tables:)! Show them some small town lovin'”

“I’ve eaten here twice now. It’s has been good both times. I will say that the wait is a little long but not to bad either. Everywhere is about the same on wait and pricing. I’ve put their menu, since I couldn’t find one or an updated one online anywhere. Hope this helps!”

“I hope more people learn of this business and hit it up from some good eating.The inside counter is a little small for ordering and you may get a little love tap from the entrance door.Other than that the food is good, the people are friendly and you should take a minute and read the note on the inside on how they acquired the name for the business, it's pretty heart touching.I recommend the steak ranchero burrito.”

“Discovered this place by total accident. The brisket was good but the chicken was amazing. The owner was very nice. They were stingy on the proteins either which I thought was good. Will definitely visit again”

“This is a great spot for lunch or breakfast. We dined in and we were a pretty good sized group and still at that our food was out and ready in just under 15 minutes and the waitress checked on us every 4 minutes, also the food was delicious and was hot when it hit our table although the chips and salsa where good I think the chips could of used Salt and could have been a lot less cold but altogether this was a fine choice to dine in for usKid-friendliness: Plenty of room for high chairs and strollers”
