We decided on a spur of the moment to stop for lunch at the Bakery Café, 434 S Commercial, Aransas Pass; a truck was pulling out right in front of us, otherwise probably wouldn’t have stopped! Very satisfied with our breakfasts. Cooked perfectly, and as busy as they were and shorthanded too, we did not wait long. Would have returned but the parking was full indicating they would have no tables available. Small diner and with covid restrictions you need to get there early.

Sure, the ambiance is nothing to write home about. But the food was AWESOME!!!!!!!! Our waitress was one of the best ever. We loved each and everything. My husband had the choice of a regular burger and a hand patted. He ordered the hand patted - awesome. I ordered fried okra and chicken fried steak with gravy. Could not have been better. It was the best!! Thank you so much for the great food!
