This was our first time to visit this restaurant. Food is great! Refried beans and rice were kind of bland, but at least they didn't burn the tongue out of my wife's mouth. We have eaten at over three dozen Mexican restaurants in the San Antonio area and this one scores right up there with the best of them. The experience was okay. It was a friendly enough atmosphere, and the service was fine... but it didn't really draw me in. It wasn't inviting. The food was adequate, but plain. There was nothing about this visit that stood out... making it a rather forgettable experience.

The food here was good. I had a carne asada torta that may have needed just a bit more meat and fixings, but we had ordered guac so I added my own extras. The street tacos can with a jalapeno that literally brought me to tears.
