They have been shut down by the health department 3 times between 12/22 and 4/23. Other months get very low scores. Not worth the risk for a nasty viet that can not have english menus...illegal.

Anti-ccp propaganda, language barriers, and slightly rude owner aside, the food here is really tasty and cheap.

This tofu place has fresh fried tofu and yummy tofu pudding! It’s not oily at all and it’s the best quality that my family has found so far in the Arlington area

The old man owner is not a nice guy. Many times he treated customers like he didn't care them (no or limit explanation even though I spoke Vietnamese to him) - bad customer servicesP/S His son/daughter is nicer than him

Great place to get your fresh tofu supply for snacking or making vegan dishes! I have been living in Arlington area for years and only found out about First Tofu about 2-3 months ago. Not sure why, but better late than never! I've been seeing their tofu being sold at pretty much all the Vietnamese markets in Arlington, but never really paid attention to the label. Not sure how often each market restocks with their tofu, but one thing for sure, it's guarantee fresh if you get it straight from the source. The pricing is the same, but it's a bit closer to me and I'd take fresher food any day! My go to every time has been their mushroom tofu, 5 pieces for $1, small cubes boxed tofu, sweet soft tofu, and vegan "pork skin" mix. They don't have a lot of vegan snacks or other prepared food, but you can always count on fresh tofu here at a great price! Btw, they only take cash, good thing there's a Chase bank right in the same shopping center.

OMG, i ordered seafood soup, and got a plastic food wrapper in it.
I always order the staple catering items at first tofu. Their egg rolls are always delicious (better than bistro b). Their banh cuon is the best in town. And their tofu is better than first tofu.

Not a place to stay and eat and not for anyone who isn't already a part of the Asian culture. they didn't even have menus in English! I loved the different tofus but I couldn't communicate with the staff. Just felt uncomfortable and like an outsider...

Have always driven past this place but had to stop to try banh cuon since not many places make those anymore. The inside was sparse and mainly had fried tofu. I got the meat filled banh cuon along with the pork ham. I also got an individual portion of ginger hot tofu. The banh cuon was decent. I liked the fish sauce and the fried ham roll. The old reviews said they had to go meals but did not see any. I came on a Thursday lunch time. Also did not see any che or dessert. But They had what I came for but would be nice to have more selections. The decor is underwhelming but it is not any different from most to go places. I will only stop by if I want banh cuon for tofu and happens to be located by Fro Yo and Thanh Thanh

Yesterday, tm came to buy white tofu and had it fried on the spot. I thought it would be new, hot and delicious, but unfortunately when I got home to eat, the tofu was still hot but had an old sour taste.
