They used to be goated before 2022, then all of a sudden they switched ownership and they lost their way hard. They stopped making burgers, which is wild because they were well loved by everyone. They started introducing so many unnecessary additions to the menu, like pizza, cheeto, and bbq cheesesteaks. The flavor of the Zinger/Regular cheesesteak was still there, but obviously when you have different staff working every week the quality of the food goes down and that’s what made me stop going.So really I’m here for the schadenfreude. This used to be the best kept secret in Arlington, but some idiot decided to destroy the menu and it’s satisfying that their terrible decisions ended with the place being closed.

Drove by this little place the other day and had to come back to try it out. I was greeted pretty quickly as there was only two cars ahead of me. I ordered the traditional Philly 6" combo. Price was pretty good considering some places are charging over 10 bucks for a 6". I added a combo with fries and a can Pepsi. Price was $11.89 total. I prefer provolone on my Philly which they didn't have so that was a bummer. It was a 20 minute wait but again there was 2 cars ahead of me and cheesesteaks cannot be made ahead of time. I got my food and returned back to work. The cheesesteak was perfectly cooked, toasted and full with a really good meat to veggie ratio and toasted nicely. The fries were hot but a little too salty (that's mostly cause I can't handle salt well).The building is old. There is really no atmosphere but for someone who knows that hole in the wall food places are usually the best around!All in all it was worth stopping and I will definitely be back!

My daughter and I always pass this place when shopping at Dollar 25 Tree so we decided to stop by this weekend. I got the chicken, she got the steak and cheese. They do not offer cups, ice, straws or napkins. Mmkay. We ate in our car and I used my good Puffs Plus tissue to wipe my mouth and hands. They offer Pepsi products which means for the non caffeine people, you have to get a Starry . The sandwiches had too much mayo but they were tasty. The fries were seasoned but they didn't taste seasoned, if that makes sense. They kind of tasted like boiled eggs to me. I don't really no how to explain it. This seems all over the place but I got all the important stuff in. I would go back for the sandwich, no mayo, no fries. My daughter said she would go back for the cheesesteak with no mayo and no fries.

We went to S&S cheesesteak to get our favorite favorites this place is changed dramatically. Sandwiches about half as much as it used to be as far as the meat on the Philly cheesesteak they used to have a full full size Zinger and the guy tried to pass off two small patties that were heavily breaded all I can say is don't go there anymore
I've tried a couple of the cheesesteak places that everyone recommended as number 1 in the area. I got to say, this place is hands down my favorite. Don't let the small exterior run you away. Owners are super friendly and cheesesteaks was on point! Man let me tell you they don't skimp out! The meat to cheese melt ratio was perfect. It even had us wanting to get cheesesteaks again the next day! Only thing I would change is probably the fries lol.

Hell na I ordered the flamin cheesesteak and the bread and chips were stale, no refund and she apparently tried the food and said it was not stale Order Philly fries and they had no cheese The ladies hair is down and messy long hair with food in it and they both were cooking. The place is nasty. The guy was scratching his ear with his gloves on when giving us the foodNo refunds but they have no sign They replaced item for chicken tenders. Who gonna eat this damn food now Terrible, shame because it looks like it used to be pretty good.

What is really excellent here are the Cheesesteak Fries. Out of this world incredible. No idea what sauce they use for them but its some kind of garlic mayo based sauce that is insanely good.Nice service too. I always chat with the staff as I wait. Family owned stand that takes pride in their work.

The taste in the sandwiches is truly GREAT! I think if they were to put a bit more of the ingredients it would be addicting.It’s almost as if they are afraid they will run out…There’s room for improvement.
