I would usually give 5 stars because the food is delicious and always fresh but today i ordered 12 barria tacos and there was only meat no cheese. This is the 3rd time i have ordered this and it came with cheese so long atory short i called and she said it doesnt come with cheese you have to ask for it which threw me off cause i neva had to do that. I told her me n my son spend alot of money and she basically said srry but u have to request it. So i will not be returning because i was a loyal customer.

FOOD INSTAGRAM: @northtx.gemz••••? WHAT THEY’RE KNOWN FOR: a Salvadoran and Mexican food spot serving pupusas, tacos, burritos, and gorditas (and WAY more).? THE VIBE: typical grab and go place. They lowkey have a lunch rush so honestly I would enjoy my meal inside of here next time especially with all the good salsas to choose from!? PRICE: ~$14? WOULD I COME BACK? Yes.••••Overall Rating: 9/10- Ever since one of my old Salvadoran coworkers brought pupusas to work I’ve been obsessed and looking for a place to have them at.- Tacusa is one of those hidden gems that have locations in Fort Worth, Hurst, & Arlington that I had no idea about!- I will say these pupusas are HUGE and the ones I first had were smaller and able to carry around and eat but this one is filled with cheese and meat to the brim. This is not a light meal at all so be prepared to eat! I will even say that this one plate could feed two people.- The pupusas take longer to cook so be patient with the staff. I swear it’s worth the wait! The flavor of the chicken was spicy and flavorful. The loroco pupusa is a traditional plant that is often cooked with cheese in pupusas. It reminded me of cactus! Not really much flavor from the plant but still a good texture.- The salsas are so spicy but so flavorful and good. Rice and beans were packed with underlying flavors. My mouth is watering while I type this. This meal is decadent and filling so be prepared to eat if you try Tacusa out!

This is the third time I've come here, and all three times they have gotten my order wrong. Not to mention, they forgot the rice from my taco plate and when I ordered pork, came home to find that it was chicken instead and also dry too. The only decent thing here is the pupusas (they still got my meat wrong in the pupusas) but make sure to grab your salsas on your own because they do not pack them for you.The tacos are just very un-inspiring.The front staff is nice, but the kitchen communication and order fulfillment needs Immense improvement.

I tried this place because of the reviews. Me and my daughter enjoyed the street tacos, pupusas, the bowl was fantastic. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the tamales. But overall it was tasty.

Normally pupusas are just ok, and I've had them in many places, and by those who knew what they were doing. Stopped here on a whim and glad I did. These were the best I've ever had in any country!
