The brisket was fabulous. Sausage was great and beef rib was pretty good. 4 stars because they were out of: pork ribs, cornbread, grilled corn. Also, it wound be nice to have plate options with meat and a side rather than everything separate.But the brisket was really special.
With so many BBQ places in the area it's hard to choose. Coopers was recommended by a local since they do things a little different with their rub. We got a pound of brisket, salad, and a baked potato. Once you trim the meat it was perfect for two. I usually don't do sauce, but the hint of vinegar was a nice touchDietary restrictions: I'm gluten intolerant and had no issues here

I visited Cooper's Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que a few weeks ago for the first time in Austin, TX. I ordered the beef brisket, with a side of cornbread and mac and cheese. I enjoyed the brisket, it seemed fresh and had a good flavour, and they served it right in front of you, upon ordering.
