This is probably my fav Ramen place in Austin. Most other more popular ramen places in Austin lack quality and consistency, so they typically disappointed me after coming back. This is my fav Austin Ramen place bc they offer chicken ramen ,not just tonkatsu (pork). Soft boiled egg is standard in every bowl. This was our first time at ichi-umi, I got the chicken katsu bento and it was the most delicious thing I've had ? our waitress was really amazing and friendly and the service was fast, we will definitely be going back!

The food and flavors were fantastic. We ordered crab Rangoon, edamame, and fried calamari appetizers and then Tokyo Ramen, Rice Bowl with chicken teriyaki, and a Bento box with steak. The meat was absolutely unreal. Perfectly cooked and flavored. My daughter got strawberry and said 9/10 (could have been colder - you’ll see it was a little mushy in the pic).
